III | THE FIRST ENCOUNTER

This is the reason why I also love working here in field. My workers is too dedicated in their works. They are also kind, and polite.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit at paano, but there is a quick snap in my mind na bigla akong nakakita ng...galaxy?

Bigla namang lumingon na lugar ko ang babae and suddenly, our eyes met and locked with each other. And I don't know, but there's a part of me saying that I know her.

"Hey miss, I am the CEO in this airport. You can calm down and relax for a bit. Please let us do this in a good way. Pwede natin 'tong pag-usapan ng hindi ka nagwawala." I pleased the girl. Yes, I will do this in a good way as far as I can. I know that the half of my security is present here right now at pwedeng-pwede nilang hulihin 'tong babae, but they are still waiting for my command. I know them all, naawa din 'yang mga yan sa babaeng nasa harap namin ngayon.

That girl started to calm down, she sat on the floor and look in the huge glass window that is showing us a view of a plane who is now about to leave this place, it is also the golden hour now that is why it seems to be more dramatic.

"Miss are you okay?"

"Look at me miss, tell me are you okay?"

I look at this girl, her looks seems to be so deep. Tila napakalalim ng kaniyang iniisip. Bawat lapit namin sa kaniya ay tila natatakot siya sa amin, layo dito, layo doon. Nataranta din ako nang unti-unting tumulo na sa kaniyang mata ang mga luhang 'di mapigil.

Shit.

Lalapit sana ako ngunit bigla muli siyang lumayo sa akin. Dahan-dahan niyang ipinikit ang kaniyang mga mata at pinunasan ang luha na tuluyan na ngang dumaloy sa kaniyang pisngi.

Sa hindi namin malaman na dahilan, tila takang-taka ang babaeng ito na nasa harap namin, ani mo'y ngayon lamang siya nakahawak ng luha. At sa bawat pahid niya nito, parang siya ay natataranta na lamang bigla.

Weird. Baliw kaya 'to? May tama? May saltik?

Ah, bad Nikola. Bad. Judgemental mo.

"A-ano i-ito?" Gulat na gulat kami nang magsalita ang babae makalipas ang tatlong oras na pakikipag-usap.

Wait, what? Is she kidding? That's just tears, Miss! Malala ka na miss.

"Sino kayo a-at nasaan ako?!" Pagwawala ng babae. Me and my staffs got alarmed. We are currently in the airport, and damn, kanina pa kami pinagtitinginan dito!

"Hey, chill miss, hehe. Uhm, c-calm down, you are in the Philippines madam. Welcome to Tesla International Airport, the biggest airport here in our belov—"

"Philippines? What is that? Is that a place?" The girl ask with a very serious questioning look.

What the? Hindi ko alam kung ano ang magiging reaksyon ko. First of all, she looks like a filipina, and she can speak Filipino words very loud and clear! And now she's asking me what is Philippines?

Second, hindi niya man lang ako pinatapos magsalita. I mean hello? Manners miss, it is very important!

Well then, I don't have idea if this girl is just teasing me or what but damn!

This is my work, I am in work, so, I need to be kind.

I took a very deep deep breath and smile before answering the question of the girl.

"Ma'am, Philippines is a country. You know country? It is the—" I was about to explain her what country was. Baka kasi hindi niya rin alam 'di ba. Sayang with action pa naman sana yun kaso pinutol niya ang sasabihin ko.

"Stop teaching me as if it I was a baby!" ay teka attidude siya, gosh! " I know the definition of country. Ah, so Philippines is like Filotimo. But i don't remember such thing like that? But at least now I underst—"

"Filotimo? What is that? Is that a place?" I told her while mimicking her voice. That's why she rolled over her eyes. Ah, 'wag mong gawin sa iba ang ayaw mong gawin nila sa'yo okay?

Also, 'di ko sinasadya na maputol ang sentence niya. Hindi talaga, 'di ko sinasadya.

Medyo lang.

"Filotimo.. is my country. There is where I live." She said to us.

Filotimo? Wth? I am not fool miss-who-ever-you-are but all I want to say is..

"Miss malala ka na, we don't have that country. You can't fool us. If you want, sasamahan ka ng mga staffs ko sa hospital, to check you up. Baka nahilo ka ng todo sa flight mo. Don't worry it's for free." Sabi ko bago tumalikod. Sumunod na din sa akin ang aking aide.

"Aide, tell our staffs that bring that girl to my sister's hospital, okay?"

"Noted Minister." He said before leaving to command my workers.

Who is that girl? Well, I find her cute but interesting..

In addition, my heart beats so fast when I saw her.

Don't tell me,

I DON'T WANNA HAVE A CRUSH OR WORST, FALL IN LOVE WITH A CRAZY GIRL!

Naipit ako sa elevator! grr, what a perfect timing huh? May kaunting pagka-inis pa nga ako dito sa babaeng iyun eh!

Plano ko pa sanang sipain yung elevator kaso napagtanto kong masakit yun at nakakatamad din na gawin yun kaya 'wag na.

I stepped inside the elevator and the silence inside there make my inner self be active again. My inner self keep on saying that You need to see that girl again. But why? Para mairita lang ako? But then I think, masyado ba akong naging rude sa kaniya? Wait, should I apologize to her? Or hindi na kasi may kasalanan siya sa akin?

Oh no, what to do?

I really hate you, inner self!
