Born in the summer
Yellow flower
Bloomed beneath the blazing sunLips like fire
Hair like Amber
Olive skin and hazel eyesGift of nature
Looked around her
She was wrapped in green and blueBright and fair the
people said that
She deserved a better viewSo she packed her
things and left for
where the biggest dreams come trueBreathed the new air
Felt her lungs burn
Saw the smoke but had no clueOne year older
Days turned colder
In her concrete neighborhoodTime flew by her
City lights and
Restless nights were all she knewRan to catch her
Evey breath till
She couldnt sleep without a pillHouse and job the
people said that
Her life's too good to be realThen one morning
All the petals
Of the flower were falling offAnd the people
Were heartbroken
When she wore a necklace of rope
