Chapter Twenty-Nine

 Louis

“I love you, too” Callin replies, grinning. “You mean the world to me.”

And I couldn't be any happier.

The next day, Zayn and Liam come to visit.

And of course, they walk in without knocking, and of course, they walk in on Louis and I, kissing.

“I knew it” Liam says helpfully.

We spring apart, blushing furiously.

“Wait, I didn't!” Zayn says indignantly. “When did this happen?”

Louis glances at me.

I nod at him to tell them.

“Yeah, ah . . . Callin and I . . .” he says, trailing off.

I have to resist the urge to laugh.

“We're together” I say.

Zayn grins.

Liam frowns.

“What's management going to think?” he asks.

“I don't care” Louis says fiercely, protectively. “Management can-”

Liam holds up a hand.

“I just want to make sure you know what you're getting into” he says.

“I do” Louis replies.

And I get the feeling they've had this conversation before. Other girls. And I have to remember that Louis has had other girlfriends before me. But it doesn't really bother me.

He's mine now.

And I trust him.

Robin and I are talking when Liam and Zayn walk in.

“Not you too” Zayn says quickly, and then he flushes and glances at Liam, who looks amused.

“What d'you mean, 'me too'?” I ask.

I glance at Robin, my girlfriend, to see her struggling to hold back a laugh.
