There was no point in reminiscing about the past. But all he knew now was that he wasn't going to lose again.

He wasn't going to lose the love of his life... again.

"I'm hoping that today stirred some ideas in you." Taehyung came to a stop in front of Anna's house.

"Well, we both will have to wait!" Anna chuckled and got off of the car. She closed the door gently and leaned into the window, "You're not so bad after all."

Taehyung's brows jumped at her statement. Surprise was evident on his face as he never expected her to say anything close to this, ever!

"Uh, yeah. Sure. Thanks?"

"I'll see you at school, Mr Kim!" Anna giggled at her flustered teacher.

"Call me Taehyung." He caught his lower lip between his teeth. It wasn't a gesture of seduction, but it was quite the opposite. He was nervous.

"And you can call me Beth... if you'd like." She whispered the last part.

"Of course. Goodbye, Beth." Taehyung's lips curled up into a sweet smile that was unlike his previous fake ones.

"See you, Taehyung."

"Love, stay right where you are!" Taehyung stopped the lady gently by holding her shoulders.

"Why? What's wrong, Tae?" She looked at him, clueless, while he ran away to put a few feet of distance between them. He turned around and smiled at her.

Her hands covered her mouth as she gasped loudly when Taehyung pulled out a Kodak camera.

"You bought a camera? But, Taehyung! These are expensive. We could never affor-"

"I know, darling." He cut her off, gently smiling at his worried lover, "Now, please smile for me."

She couldn't smile. Not after knowing that the reason why he was spending late nights at the minefields was to buy this camera. Because it was her wish to capture their moments together.

Taehyung sighed, "You do know that you look beautiful even without smiling, right?"

"Tae..."

Before she could protest, a loud click echoed in the winter breeze.

It was the first picture he had ever clicked.

His lover standing beneath the sky that was decorated with the setting sun's colours.

Anna woke up rubbing her eyes. An uneasy feeling washed over her body.

Such a weird dream.

She walked downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water, gulping it down instantly like her life depended on it.

"That was so weird..." she whispered to herself.

She was already forgetting bits and pieces of her dream, but she couldn't forget how real it felt. She was confused to see a dream about herself and Taehyung.

It was a dream, but why did everything feel so real? The road, the buildings, the winter chill and...

His touch...

She hugged herself in an attempt to feel the warmth she felt in her dream.

I- I shouldn't be thinking about this. This is wrong!

No matter how much she tried to tell herself that it was wrong, she couldn't lie to herself that being treated like royalty by a handsome man gave her butterflies in her stomach.

"Good morning, class! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!" Kim Taehyung said as he entered the class and walked to the teacher's desk by the board.

Anna's fingers started to tremble while her stomach began to fill up with butterflies. It was a different feeling. The feeling was so intense that she felt like she might puke out real butterflies any minute now.

Ever since she had got that dream, her mind was messing with her. She couldn't even look at Jungkook without feeling guilty. She hated this new feeling. She just wanted to be happy with Jungkook. But this dream had a great impact that she never expected. And now her life was... fucked!

"Hey!"

Anna flinched when she felt a palm rest on her hands as a familiar voice whispered. A voice she knew all too well.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm- I'm fine, Kook. I'm okay!" She managed a smile, but it wasn't enough to convince her boyfriend.

"You don't look okay though, Ann. Are you sure?"

"I'm okay, Jungkook. Really." She bit the inside of her cheek to control her nervousness.

She was thankful when Jungkook didn't push her any further. He knew something was up. Ever since Annabeth came back from the art gallery, he noticed her spacing out quite often than usual. He didn't want to think much of it, but the way Anna was behaving wasn't helping either.

Anna on the other hand just wanted this class to be over as soon as possible.

But we don't always get what we want, do we?
