"Hey." Myrcella finally spoke up after taking a long shower to rid herself off the events of the party. She walked towards her bed and sat on the edge, next to Alec. "Can you stay? I don't think I can stay here after what happened..." She bit her lip, shivering at the thought of what Iris made her see. Alec quickly grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze.

"I don't think I can leave you anyways." He admitted, brushing a strand of her hair away from her face. "Not when I know what the Soul Sword can do." He added voicing his worry, he couldn't bear the idea of Valentine having something that could kill her in an instant.

"We don't know for sure. Maybe...maybe my Shadowhunter half won't get affected." Myrcella said fiddling with her shirt's hemline.

"That's a big maybe Myrcella." Alec said without realizing what those words would mean for the half warlock. He saw the look on her face and grabbed her chin. "But we can think about that later. How about we go to bed for now?" He asked with a smile on his face. Myrcella slowly nodded so the raven haired Shadowhunter leaned forward to place a kiss on her lips making Myrcella smile as well. Myrcella got up to get in the bed as Alec took off his pants and shirt to be more comfortable. They faced each other, lying on the bed and Myrcella got lost looking at his eyes.

"You know what?" She started, breaking the silence. The half warlock had decided their lives would never be calm enough or it will never be the right time and with the feeling of impending doom arriving, she decided it was now or never. "Seeing you out there tonight, about to jump...I can't even describe how horrible I felt. Alec, I can't lose you and I can't live knowing you still blame yourself for my mother. Please believe me when I say this; I don't blame you, it wasn't your fault." By now, Myrcella had tears strolling down her face. "I don't know what will happen with Valentine or the Soul Sword but I know one thing for sure." She paused wiping her face. "Alec Lightwood, I love you." She confessed, her heart feeling like it was about to explode any minute. Seeing the look of surprise on his face, she felt like she had offended him. "I'm sorry, I just had to get it off my chest. I understand if you don't-" She started rambling when she was cut off by him.

"Say it again." Alec replied with a smile, taking Myrcella by surprise.

"I love you." Myrcella repeated with an airy laugh.

"I love you too." He whispered as he pulled her in for a kiss. "I love your smile." He mumbled placing another kiss on her lips as she was smiling. "I love how you don't take crap from anyone." He placed a kiss to her cheek. "I love how stupidly selfless you are even though the idea of you getting hurt actually kills me." He kissed down to her jawline. "I love your scars." His hands roamed under her shirt up to her abdomen. "I love every single little thing about you, Myrcella Fairchild." He concluded going back up to her lips. Myrcella felt like he was her drug, his kisses and words intoxicated her and she couldn't think clearly. The only thing mattered to her at that moment was that she loved the raven haired Shadowhunter with all her heart and he loved her back. Myrcella deepened the kiss by wrapping her bare legs around his waist to pull him closer to her. Alec licked the girl's lips for permission which Myrcella gladly gave. They broke the kiss so Myrcella could take off her shirt. She laid back down and Alec took a moment to admire the girl beneath him. "I love you so much." He added with a look in his eyes that ignited a fire inside Myrcella which felt like it couldn't be extinguished by all the water in the world.
