Valentine looked at Jace and Myrcella for a second in shock mixed with anger as they sat down next to him and Madzie.

"How fatherly. I didn't know you had it in you." Jace retorted drawing attention to himself. As Myrcella was sitting next to him, she saw him reach for his sword but change his mind after having a stare off with Jace. He put on a wicked smile to keep up his act in front of the young warlock girl.

"Ah, Jonathan. I figured you'd come for young Madzie sooner or later. Although, it's a shame you didn't bring your sister along." Valentine spoke with a grin. "Oh, your other sister." He added as he shot a look at Myrcella. She could tell he hated her.

"The feeling's mutual." Myrcella mumbled under her breath.

"Let the girl go." Jace commanded as Myrcella gave a small smile to the little girl.

"I'm afraid young Madzie is quite happy where she is." Valentine interjected with a sigh and smiled at Madzie himself. Myrcella's hand itched seeing him smile, she just wanted to kill him then and there.

"Oh, I think Iris would disagree." Jace spoke up seeing the look on the half warlock's face.

"You see, dear father." Myrcella started, sarcasm dripping from her tone. "She made Clary take a blood oath. I guess your plans don't work out perfectly after all." She mocked him, wanting to irritate the hell out of the man sitting next to her.

"If we don't get Madzie to her in the next few hours..." Jace said as they rehearsed before going in.

"Clary dies." Myrcella concluded, feeling her insides twist hoping their plan works out.

"I suppose you two are here to save her life." Valentine rolled his eyes at the two younger Shadowhunters, not believing them one bit.

"No, we're here to give you an ultimatum. We'll let Clary die if we have to..." The blond Shadowhunter started explaining, putting his hands on the table.

"But you old man, need her alive to activate the Sword and all." He let Myrcella finish his sentence.

"You're bluffing. You couldn't kill your falcon when you were a boy, and you can't kill your sister now." Valentine let out a dry laugh looking at Jace. "And you...do I need to remind you of the Seelie child? I've seen how weak you are." He addressed Myrcella shaking his head. Myrcella tried her best to not let his words get to her, that's what he wanted anyways.

"I have demon blood. Myrcella has demon blood. If you destroy the Downworld, we may go down with it and it's not a chance we're willing to take." Jace spoke up once again, knowing it was a touchy subject for Myrcella. "I'm just trying to save myself and my sister. It's your choice...but I'm not gonna ask you again." He added, nodding towards Myrcella. She didn't expect him to call her his sister but couldn't help the small smile. The two have been through dark times together and had an unspoken care for each other. "Either Madzie comes with us...or your angel dies." He concluded giving Valentine a death stare. Valentine looked at the two for a minute, contemplating if they were telling the truth or not.
