The sky was blue, the sun was warm and bright,
The forest green, the paths untrod, called me.
Here comes the thundering roar, I went to see
To see the water splashing in the light
What a glorious place I've seen, oh what a sight
The crashing, falling water has my key,
My key to peace and joy as nature I see.
The waterfall I see is of great height
I sat down by the side to feel the splash
The water sprays in iridescent pearls
It lands on rocks and roots with a great clash.
The water foams, and roars, and glides in swirls
In water so clear and blue sliver fish will dash
The water pours down as fast as my thoughts do hurl.
