Chapter XIX: Looking back to the past.

Anastasia Tala Issento the great traitor of the Issento clan. The downfall of the greatest clan in the continent was caused by the daughter of the clan head.

At the age of 4 she was introduced to the world as the next successor. The ceremony was held at the second highest peak of the Mt. Taporan. It was a grand event.

Who would have thought that this will be the start of the coming calamity.

Thinking of those memories hunted Ana down. Her guilt and pain in her heart was biting her conscience. Looking at how her little brother looked at her with blame and hate. She couldn't help but close her eyes and silently take all his hateful glare.

It was all my fault...

She was the biggest sinner why the whole clan met its demise. She remembered her father who protected her and her siblings while urging them to run away.

One of the clan members her Uncle Humablon Issento the cousin of his father told her reluctantly about a way to bring back her dead mother. He said that it was in the hands of her father the secret of the clan.

She thought that if the thing that can bring her mother's life is in her father's hand why didn't her father use it? His uncle said because it will lose it's power.

She was angry knowing that fact! She was angry why his father didn't use it to save her mother!

Hate...

and hate...

She have to get that power in her hands...

Resolve started to ignite in her eyes as she face the hundreds of people below her. Its was a ceremony dedicated for her in the clan to be introduced as the next heir. After the ceremony her father took her into the highest peak of Mt.Taporan to reveal the secret of the clan.

In the highest peak was a cave hidden. To get inside is a hidden method needed to be used. Inside of it is a glowing crystal that floats in the grand platform. The ceiling was high and majestic with intricate designs and symbols.

The clan didn't know what it is but the founder of the clan found it and try to decipher the written symbols on the walls. And he found out that it was actually a hidden method to gain power. An thus the Issento's powerful meditation technique was created.

While his father explained, Ana kept her eyes on the crystal. The shining crystal was as big as an adult male's hand. The crystal float and shimmers.

"What about that?" Ana can't help but ask.

"It was a crytal that holds a great power. No one knows not even the founder of the clan knows what it is. However he said only one thing and that is 'We need not need to be greedy' and for many years and generations of clan heads no one dares to touch it. So I hope once you take my position I hope you will protect and not disclose this secret."

"Yes father..." Ana said obediently as she bows down. Her father nodded with satisfaction without realizing the hidden dark smirk on her daughters mouth.

Ana couldn't help but grab her chest tightly as she recalled the past and her foolishness. She hopes she could come back in the past and change it. However she knows it was impossible.

After her discovery she immediately told her uncle about it and ask for help to take it and revive her dead mother. She was so naive and stupid. She didn't know the malice of her uncle.

That day when the time she would take the crystal away his uncle betrayed her. His father found out immediately and looked at her with a pained eyes.

They were inside the cave as her uncle and father was having a standoff. Fights broke out between her clans and two other major clans that also want the secrets of Issento clan in there hands.

She also found out that her uncle lied about the crystal having a power to revive the dead. She was devastated and almost went crazy.

It was all a lie...

The fight resume. It was a bloody fight with death of many lives and it's all because of her...  She was a sinner...

In the end her father was subdued and her uncle won and took the crystal out of its position. She tried to stop her uncle but to no avail she's just too weak.

"Well well well... look at what we have here the big traitor! Tell me what side are you really? If I remember you were on my side." he said as he stared at her with evil eyes.

"No! No! your wrong! I'm not a traitor... I just-I just.. I-" Ana's eyes quivered in confusion. Could it be that I am indeed a traitor?

"Didn't you tell us the Issento's secret power?" he said again with a wicked face. His eyes teasing her.

"Your wrong! Your all wrong! I just want to bring back my mother!" Ana shouted as tears stream down her pale face her eyes red with anger and sorrow.

"Well whatever isn't it the same? You betrayed your father and the Issento clan."

She was struck by the truth and fell on her knees. He's right no matter what she was a traitor. She looked at the bloody surroundings and her father being kept in place by two other strong man.

While she was in a dilemma two man came to the scene and they are the clan heads of Hawk eye and Black ray clan. The two other powerful clan beside the Issento.  The two clan heads and Humablon end up fighting of who will now own the crystal. No one wants to share.

Before the fight ended a huge earthquake began that stop it all. It turns out that the crystal and the cave is locking down a huge evil entity. The crystal is the supporting power to keep the locking magic working and now that it was gone the evil monster was set free.

It was huge monster with a wings and scales like a dragon. It's body is human like but the head is like the hawks. The monster wave its left arm and killed a thousand.

The monster is too strong...

It was unbeatable...
