CHAPTER THREE: Blessing in Disguise

Immediately we rushed to Ken's body. We swipe anyone who blocks the path until we reach him. When we checked him huli na ang lahat. Wala na itong pulso at kulay lila na ang mga labi. Pumukaw naman sa atensyon ko ay ang bumubula niyang bibig.

"Anyone! Please help" Denise cried for help habang akap akap si Ken.

My flesh are shaking with fear. Ito ang unang pagkakataon na naka'saksi ako ng ganito. I didn't know what else to do than calling for help. Good thing someone called an ambulance and took care of Ken for a while.

I'm sure Denise feel devastated. Ramdam ko iyon sa hagulgol niya. I hope everything will be fine. I'm praying for Ken's safety. Hindi ko na sila sinundan pa knowing Denise, mas gusto niya ng space everytime she feels upset. I'll just wait when her heart is already open for sympathy.

Dead on arrival si Ken. Everyone is putting their blame sa coach nito na si Prof. Guillermo. Some say pinagod nito si Ken dahil may sama ito ng loob sa binata. Some are making mere speculations that someone have murdered him.

Lalo naman na'depressed si Denise nang malaman nito sa kaibigan ni Ken na nag'paplano na ito mag'quit sa pagiging player for her. Dahilan para sumama ang loob ni Prof. Guillermo causing a tension between the two of them.

After that she keep herself hidden. I understand kung gaano siya nanghihinayang. As her friend I wanted to make her feel happy again. Pero habang fresh pa ang lahat ng pangyayari, I just let her to be alone.

The school had to suspend the class to undergo a massive inquest to detect the criminal. Kahapon ay pinapasok kaming lahat para tanungin ukol sa incidente including Prof. Guillermo. Pinapila kami at pumasok isa isa sa loob ng tent.

I can see that all the students has pretty long faces. But my approach was different. Taas noo ko silang hinarap, proof na wala akong kinalaman. As of now police are doing their best para matukoy kung sino ang salarin sa pagka'matay ni Ken.

After the inspection I stayed at the café before I went back home. For some reason parang mas naging sensitive ang pan'dinig ko at bigla ko nalang na'didinig ang pinaguusapan ng iba. Isa na dito ang isang pang'yayari a few weeks ago before I transfer here.

A grade 12 student went missing after a year end party without any trace. The creepy part is the party took place in this campus. After that, no one have seen him or even tell it's whereabouts. Marami ang nag'sabi na he committed suicide but if it's a suicide they should've found his body.

It's kind of disturbing that the school officials won't post this news in the school magazine for everyone's self awareness. But they've decided to keep it hidden for the sake of the school's reputation. I guess same goes by to Ken's death.

Isang bagay naman ang ikiniagaan ng loob ko ay ang madalas na pag'dalaw ni Joshua kay Denise. Natutuwa naman ako na mukhang napapasaya niya ito sa kabila ng mapait na karanasan. Minsan pala si Ex pa ang sasalo sa iyo sa mga panahon na wasak na wasak ka.

It's been 4 days since the incident at hanggang ngayon suspended padin ang klase. Ginugugol ko na lamang ang aking oras sa pag'susulat ng aking nobelya habang naka'pantulog pa ako.

Unti-unti nang lumamig ang issue pero hanggang ngayon hindi parin natutukoy kung sino ang salarin. Kung sino man ang may pakana isa lang ang masasabi ko, Napaka'linis niyang mag'trabaho.
