"Leave me alone. Please!"
"What are you gonna do about it, dweeb."
I heard this conversation echoing through the halls on my way to the first hour. I walked for a little bit following the sound. I turned the corner.
Then I saw it.
"Stevey put him down," I said calmly
"Why! I was having so much fun," asked Stevey as he held Oliver in the air.
"Stevey! What did I say?" I exclaimed
"Fine," He exclaimed dropping Oliver to the floor.
"No fun" I heard him mumble behind me as he walked down the hall.
I turned back to Oliver. He was stood up back against the lockers. He looked terrified and in shock. He was breathing heavy. All of a sudden Oliver bolted down the hallway. He ran right past me.
I turned and ran after him. My sneakers squeaked loudly as I ran.
"Wait!" I exclaimed, " Are you ok?" I asked as he turned the corner.
I turned the corner about a second later but Oliver had vanished.
"Where'd he go?"
I examined the hallway for a minute. My eyes moving from side to side. Looking for any sign of movement.
I sighed. There was no sign of the boy.
I shrugged, "Weird," I said as I turned and walked back to my class.
