"How do you want it love?" The woman with red hair asked me as she sprayed water onto my long hair to make it wet so it's easier for her to cut.

I stared at my reflection from my seat and my eyes darted up to hers. "I want it a little short maybe.. I've always had it long." I explain.

The first thing I wanted to do was get a haircut. I haven't had a haircut in years so it allowed my hair to grow out. I just wanted a change from having such long hair. It was especially annoying when you had to wash your hair and dry it so I want it a little shorter.. hopefully I won't regret it because I tend to do that after haircuts.

"How short?" She asks brushing through my brown hair with her fingers.

I held my fingers to around my ribs. This means I'll get a few good inches cut. She nodded and started to slowly snip away. My eyes landed on Roger who was behind the hairdresser staring at her work. His warm eyes met mine and he gave me a soft smile.

Roger wasn't too bad. He was actually quite nice and I couldn't help but notice his boyish attractiveness. His warm brown eyes made you feel like you could trust him. He would be a real catch if he weren't in the gang business. But unfortunately he was and I doubt a girl would want to seriously date him after finding that out.

The hairdresser adjusted my head so I was looking straight. I gave her an apologetic smile for tilting my head.

After approximately an hour I was finished. I stared at the change of myself from the mirror. It didn't look that different but to me it did.

Smiling I ran my fingers through the freshly curled soft hair. "I love it!" I smiled turning to the red haired woman who was packing away her instruments.

"I'm glad you do!" She says with the same enthusiasm.

I walked out of the salon feeling really fresh. My hair was so soft and bouncy and I just felt like a brand new woman.

Roger just rolled his eyes at my sudden happiness. "Oh c'mom as if you don't feel happy after a haircut!" I laughed as we stood by the road trying to hail a cab to return back home.

"Actually I don't." He shrugged. "It's only a haircut.
I swear women are so dramatic."

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Yeah let's just pretend you don't."

Finally a yellow cab rolls to a stop in front of us and we quickly hop in.

"Do you know where Harry went?" I asked after Roger finishes telling the address to the driver. I was doing so well with not thinking about Harry but now that we were heading home I just.. I wanted to know where he was. I felt so used after last night's experience. He just left. Didn't say anything to me in the morning and even Liam didn't know his whereabouts and that's really odd.

So my last chance was Roger.

"Why?" He asked playing with his lip.

Because he fingered me and it feels like he's avoiding me. My subconscious bites back inside my head.

"Um.. just wondering." I shrugged looking out at the window. As if on cue to how I was feeling, the rain begun to pour down.

"Well I'm not that close with Harry so I don't know." He shrugged. I felt his eyes on me. "Why are you just wondering about Harry?" I looked back to him to see his eyes were narrowed suspiciously at me. It felt like he was just reading all my thoughts running through my mind.

"Because... I live with him?"

"So?"

I groaned and closed my eyes resting my head against the cold window. It soothed my head because it was pounding from thinking and worrying too much over literally nothing.

"Do you like him?" Roger asked. There was an edge to his tone. I sat back up and looked at him.

"What! No! Of course not!" I quickly denied. I couldn't have Liam finding out. That would just be bad news and plus do I like him? I mean I allowed him to finger me and that was my first experience and I really liked that date.. was it a date? Oh my god. Breathe Liv.

"Good." Roger answered back quickly. "He's a womaniser and Liam wouldn't want you caught up with him. He's bad news no matter how close Liam and him are."

I frowned. "You seem to hold a grudge against him."

He snickered and nodded. "When a guy like that sleeps with your girlfriend well now ex. I do hold a grudge against him."

My mouth dropped open at the revelation. He slept with Roger's girlfriend? I felt a feeling of disgust wash over me. Why in the world would he try and lure someone who is already in a relationship? Does he do that for fun? Harry does like really sad twisted humour so maybe he did it for fun..

And maybe he used me for fun.. I was around and I seemed easy to him perhaps. I allowed the horrible thoughts settle inside my mind and I felt the familiar burn in my eyes from the tears I was holding in.

As we arrived at Liam's apartment complex, I quickly got out and jogged inside from the rain and also to avoid eye contact with Roger because I didn't want him to see the tears I was holding in. I waited by the elevator for him and quickly wiped the tears from my face as he approached.

"So you guys must not like each other then?" I asked softly as we entered the elevator. I watched him press the penthouse button and I watched as the numbers above increased every second.

"Fuck yeah. You don't do that to a mate." He mumbled as the doors slide open.

My heart dropped to my stomach when I heard the laugh belonging to the person who had been on my mind since the early hours of the day.
