I stared at the gown which hugged my body. It was a red strapless gown, reaching all the way to my feet. It had a long slit all the way up to my hipbone. I had to wear an uncomfortable thong in order to void the underwear showing due to the slit.

My dark hair was in curls. I was proud of the way it had turned out as I brushed a few stray hairs behind my ear.

I applied another coat of mascara onto my lashes. I examined my make. My eyes were a dark smokey eye, it made my blue eyes vibrant. My lips were coated with a nude colour as I felt red would be 'over the top.'

As I was putting on the nude coloured heels that were left beside my bed by either Harry or Liam the door opened.

I looked up to see Harry, he was wearing a tux. His curly hair messily fell around his face as he reached up to push the strands away as he took in my appearance.

"How do I look?" I asked nervously doing a little spin for him. "Is it okay?" I bit my lip as he didn't reply.

"Uh.. yeah.." he coughed and straightened himself up. "You look fine."

I gave him a soft smile before I took his arm and we walked through into the living room. I held onto his arm tightly for support.

Also because I was afraid.

I didn't know what I had to prove himself to Liam except that he had just told me to get ready and we were going somewhere. I'm guessing that somewhere is to some type of ball by the gown that was left on my bed while I was shaving.

Liam's back was to us as we approached him. He too was wearing a tux. His voice was hushed as he spoke hurriedly into the phone. He turned around and as he saw me a smirk settled on his lips.

"I'll have to call you back."

He placed the phone into his pocket as he reached towards me, pulling me from Harry's grasp.

His fingers played with my hair and I nervously gazed into his eyes. The same eyes as me.

"My baby sister.." his arms around my waist tightened. "Tonight you're going to prove yourself to me."

I frowned at what he was saying. I didn't understand what he meant with 'proving myself' and I didn't know if I wanted to know what he even meant. What if I don't prove myself to him? What is he going to do? Is he going to let me go? Or was he going to kill me. Even worse, lock me up with the man who claims he's my father..

"What do you mean prove myself?" I asked the question that was burning inside my mind.

He shook his head ignoring me as he signalled for Harry to come.

"We're going somewhere where they're a lot of powerful people." He turned his back to me as Harry came behind me.

I felt trapped between them.

"I need you to be on your best behaviour. I cannot have them thinking that someone I share the same blood with is a savage. Brought up by a woman who betrayed my father."

"My mother —"

Liam sharply turned around and his index finger was instantly at my lip silencing me. "Your mother betrayed my father, she hid a child away from him and left another child. Don't you try tell me any different because we both know I'm right."

I felt anger burn through my body and I clenched my fists. I felt Harry's warm hand suddenly touch my back almost in a soothing manner.

"Do you think I'm right Olivia?"

I knew what he was trying to do, he was trying to lure me into exploding at him. So when it happens he has a reason to strike me down. Break me. I knew his games.

"Let's go Liam. We're late." I hear Harry grumble behind me trying to pull me away but Liam's hands came forward and grabbed my wrist. Making me stay in place.

"Am I right Olivia?" He whispered harshly into my face.

I felt Harry's fingers pinch my back. I nearly yelped.

"Yes you're right." I said giving up.

"About what?"

"C'mon man we need to get going." Harry said loudly this time.

I thanked him mentally for trying to save me from this situation. Was he trying to save me? Or was he just bored? Whatever it was, he was working in my favour so for that I was thankful.

Liam looked past me at Harry and nodded finally letting go of my wrists. I stepped back into Harry as we both walked away from Liam towards the elevator.

I let out a breath that I didn't even realise I was holding in. I felt so much anger towards Liam. So so much.

My entire life I had imagined myself meeting my father. If I had known that he was a mafia leader with a cruel bastard for a son I would never in a million years would have wished to have a complete family.

My heart clenched for my mother. If Liam was like this I could only imagine how horrible Greyson Castello was. I shivered at the thought of him hurting my mother. I knew that my mom always had a reason to back away from a problem when it wasn't fixable. I trusted that she had tried her best to deal with Grayson. I couldn't blame her for leaving. I couldn't blame her for leaving Liam because she never left me.

She never left me and for that I loved her with all my heart because she had tried to protect me from the day I was born.

I understand that now as Harry helped me into a black car with Liam trailing behind him.
