Damon took Joyce's hand, planting a soft kiss on her knuckles "Joyce Summers, now I know where Buffy gets those looks."

As Buffy gagged, Joyce just raised an unimpressed brow in his direction before yanking her hand free of him; promptly wiping her hand against her jeans in disgust "If you continue to flirt with me given that I am perfectly aware of how you treat teenager girls-" The smug smile instantly vanished from Damon's face and he took a slight step back, his eyes widening at the dangerous look in Joyce's eyes.

Like a lioness protecting her little cubs.

"Then I will castrate you with a vervain steamed axe and I assure you, I will do it slowly." She chimed innocently before mockingly tapping his chest and strolling right past him into the parlor room while Buffy broke out into giggles as she caught the look on Damon's face.

His eyes were wide with shock, his mouth hanging open completely baffled by her mother's threat.

Or more accurately her promise.

Perching her chin on his shoulder, she smirked up at him brightly, immensely enjoying his sputtering shocked face. Once again, it had been proven that any woman with Summers DNA would never fall for his charms "How does it feel to be rejected by a Summers from every generation Dame? That ego cracking?"

"I hate you so much." Damon just grumbled shooting her a sharp glare before pushing against her head to shove her lightly away from him.

Buffy just let out a loud laugh as he stumped forward in a sulk into the parlor room where Lexi and Stefan were still in party mode.

Bon-Jovi was blasting from the speakers, the music bouncing off the walls so loudly it was almost hard to hear yourself think, which clearly was the plan given the amount of dancing and empty liquor bottles littering the floor.

As she watched Stefan bounce his head along to the beat of the music like a madman possessed and Lexi continued to dance on one of the coffee tables, Buffy whistled, a smile gracing her lips as she watched the pair.

It was sending her mind flying all the way back to High School when she and Stefan had gone to their first Four Star Mary concert together. It was the first time she had ever seen him act so carefree. When she met Lexi for the first time, it had been nice to know that he had someone who brought out that side of him through the decades.

"What reality is this?" She laughed only to giggle as she was quickly tackled by a slightly tipsy Lexi who hugged her tightly before playfully taking the graduation cap out of her hands and placing it on top of her own head.

"Well Miss Graduate!" She yelled loudly enunciating the sentence causing Buffy to giggle, pink blushing her cheeks as she quickly hid her face in the palms of her hands "This is the reality of fun."

Buffy immediately turned and shot Damon a glare as he moved to switch off the music "I'm back to hating you." She said before looping her arm with Lexi's "Do you think we could trick The Other Side so you stay instead?"

Damon launched a book at the girls who both dodged out of the way with ease "Can Summers women stop insulting me today?" Pausing he winked at Joyce who grumbled as she moved to sit beside Stefan on the couch "Or at least do it naked."

Joyce rolled her eyes promptly snatching the bottle of whiskey as Stefan handed it to her "Wishing I was still dead right now."

As Stefan snorted and Buffy laughed, Damon rolled his eyes shifting his focus to the other dead blonde in the room "Speaking of dead." He narrowed his eyes at Lexi who just smirked at him, clearly having enjoyed watching him get rejected by yet another Summers woman.

And it was likely in 17 years, if Damon had a death wish he would be in for another rejection followed by a swift beheading from Buffy.

Stefan just grinned smugly as he moved over, letting Buffy sit on his left while the three of them watched the disaster about to happen with eager eyes.
