Chapter 30

I decided to go back to go work since I've been gone for so long. Baka sabihin ng ibang mga empleyado na inaabuso ko ang pagiging twin sister ng may-ari ng GE Airlines. I also took a break din kasi from work when Joshua and I broke up then mahigit three months din akong nawala ngayon.

When I sat down on my seat here in the cockpit, adrenaline rushed through me. I've become excited, so excited that it feels like this is my first time maneuvering an aircraft. This is what I feel everytime that I'm in front of the flight deck controls. Hindi pa rin natatanggal sa akin ang excitement sa tuwing magpapalipad ako ng eroplano.

This is really my profession. I couldn't imagine myself doing works other than being a pilot. That's why I owe everything to Apollo. He made my dream come true.

"Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. This is Captain Artemis Gallagher, speaking. I'd like to welcome you onboard GE Airlines Flight 86A, nonstop flight to Incheon, South Korea."

I slowly pushed the throttle and the aircraft began to move. I looked at my co-pilot and smiled.

Being a pilot is not so easy. Mas maraming passengers ang sakay ng eroplano compared to other vehicles. So that means na maraming buhay ang kailangan kong ingatan. That's why as much as possible, I'd like them to have a comfortable flight. Fortunately, I'd never encountered any turbulence in all of my flights that's why I am known as the best captain in GE Airlines.

Luckily, my life is back to normal now. It's actually getting better. No more pains and tears. My family's life is doing good na rin. With Zuri having a twins. Four months na lang at manganganak na rin sya but until now, hindi pa rin alam ni Kuya Helios na magkakaroon sya ng kambal.

Apollo and Daphne will get married next year. Natakot kasi sya about the superstition sa sukob even though I know that he wanted to get wed to Daphne as soon as possible. But he can't take the risk. Who knows na baka malakas pala ang paniniwala ng mga matatanda?

Almost four hours of flight and we already reached our destination. I have next flight pa later back to the Philippines so I only have a few hours to get rest. I'm fine with it since matagal akong nawala. Kailangan kong bumawi.

I was the last one who left the cockpit area. Nauna na ang co-pilot ko sa pagbaba. I wasn't surprised when I saw Hunter sitting on one of the first-class seats again. Nakade-kwatro pa sya while leaning on the backrest of his seat.

He was wearing a wayfarer and a white button down polo shirt. Naka-tuck in iyon sa cream colored pants nya. And even though he's wearing a light colored clothes, nandoon pa din ang bad looking guy aura nya.

I waved my hand in front of his face to see if he's awake but he didn't move. I crouched down, pilit kong inaaninag ang mga mata nya sa likod ng wayfarers na suot nya. I can't see clearly since the glass is a bit dark kaya mas inilapit ko pa ang mukha ko sa kanya.

Napatili ako nang bigla nyang pinulupot ang isang braso nya sa bewang ko at hinigit ako palapit sa kanya. He made me sat on his lap and lock my body inside his arms. Kaya kahit na gusto kong tumayo ay hindi ako makagalaw dahil nakayakap na sya sa akin.

He removed my hat on my head. Inalis nya rin ang wayfarer na suot nya before he rested his chin on my shoulder. His nose were touching my cheek. We were so close that I can smell his cologne and his minty breath.

"I thought you're asleep?" I asked.

He planted a small kiss on my cheeks and I can't help but to smile. Pinanatili nya lang na nakakadikit sa pisngi ko ang tungki ng ilong nya so it made me ticklish everytime he exhaled.

"Kailan ba kita tinulugan?" he asked with a husky voice. He inhaled deeply at niyakap pa ako nang mas mahigpit. "Nice flight, Captain."

I smirked. Now I feel so proud hearing him say that. Parang gusto ko tuloy magpakitang gilas at ipag-backflip ang eroplano sa ere.
