I revel in my sorrow.
I swim through ripples of regret,
Hope emerge I'll tomorrow.
From agony comes agony,
As dread becomes more dread.
I feel my breath a fallacy.

I’m blind to light.
Can’t find my fight.
Can’t open up. I’m shut too tight.
Won’t touch the sky.

Douses my wounds with salt.
I’d welcome you to reach inside and suck out all my breath,
So I can sink down to the ground and there I’ll welcome -
