Lover, show Me
Lust and speak.
You’re inside Me, tongue in cheek,
Tooth and nail like ginger ale,
Hand in hand like wind and land,
Heads and shoulders,
Knees and toes.

Eyes, nose, mouth, and ears,
I’ve known this all for years.Looking over ashes of the cities that we’ve burned,
Secretly rejoicing in the silence that we’ve earned.
Cut My fuse and light My fire
Wonder if we’ll get much higher
Lest we perish, rust, expire
Cities that we’ve burned
