Teddy's POV

Yeah, it's September 1st. And it's also the first year in the last 8 years that I am not going to Hogwarts, since I graduated last year. Of course I am really happy for having finished my schooling, but I was very sad because Vic has to go to Hogwarts this year, for her 7th and last year. For the second time, we are being separated by Hogwarts.
I woke up to Lily jumping on my bed, saying: "Teddy, Teddy, wake up! Mummy made pancakes!"
That made me almost jump of the bed. Ginny makes the most delicious pancakes! I bent down and motioned to Lily, telling her to get on my back for a piggy-back ride . She did, and I ran downstairs. I put her down in a chair and sat by her, putting a few pancakes on my plate. Everyone was talking excitedly but Albus, who would just give short answers to everything and didn't seem to be paying much attention to anything. I thought about asking him what was wrong and looked at Harry, but he mouthed "Leave it to me" and smiled. I smiled too and carried on eating my pancakes. I finished them and went upstairs again to shower and get dressed. Half an hour later, everyone was ready to go. Me, Harry and Ginny apparated and the kids side-apparated with us. James went with Ginny, Albus with Harry and Lily with me. Let's just say that Lily being the baby of the family was kind of my favorite of the Potter kids. I don't know why, I just feel the need of protecting her and making her happy.
We still had 40 minutes before 11 am when we arrived at the platform. I picked Lily up and walked around so she could see some of her cousins and friends that were going to Hogwarts. After 10 minutes or so, I saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen before. Yes, it's Victoire... I guess Lily saw me looking at her, because she whispered in my ear: "Teddy, we all know you like her and she likes you. Now go and get her. Domi told me there are a lot of guys that would do anything for Vic to bet their girlfriend!" I looked at her surprised. "When did you become my personal love assistant?" I asked jokingly and she giggled before jumping off my arms and running to Hugo. I walked to Vic hugged her. I was very sad but couldn't let it show, it would make her even more upset. My heart was pounding so fast. She said: "I will miss you so much!" She sounded so sad. "I will miss you too..." I said "I wish you didn't have to go.". I saw her eyes water and started to panic. I couldn't make her cry! How do I stop her? Thankfully, her parents were now talking to some of their friends and they couldn't see us, because they would probably laugh at my panicked expression. I said:
"Hey, don't cry! We still have, like, half an hour until we have to say the real goodbyes!" I tried to cheer her up by changing my hair to pink. She laughed and I smiled. "This is the smile I like to see!" I said.
Then, we accidentally found ourselves looking at each other's eyes, unable to look away. We said, together: "We need to talk."
