Chapter 54: Luka's decision (realiziation)

In Marinette's house, Luka parked his bike out on the bike rack and what he had behind his back was a small bouquet of roses and orchids and also a small box.

Luka: 'Hopefully she'll love this.' *He rang the doorbell and Marinette opened the door, it's Luka. *

Marinette: Oh, uh, Luka. What are you doing here?

Luka: I need to talk to you.

Marinette: Okay, come on in. *Luka walked in and Tom and Sabine saw Luka walking in. *

Tom: Ahh, Luka. What brings you here again? Couldn't get enough of our daughter?

Sabine: (elbowed him) Tom.

Marinette: (blushing embarrassingly) Dad!

Luka: (chuckled nervously) Not like that. I need to tell her something really important.

Tom: Understandable. We'll let you have some privacy. *Sabine and Tom go to the kitchen Luka sits down and Marinette sits next to him. *

Luka: This is for you. *He handed her flowers. *

Marinette: Thank you, Luka.

Luka: Okay, so... *He holds her hands and looks at her. * I had a little talk with someone and... I know I'm the guardian of the snake miraculous— *Marinette covers his mouth, her parents might hear them. *

Marinette: Can we go upstairs and say it?

Luka: Right, I forgot about that. *They go up to Marinette's room and finish talking. * Plagg told me and... I know Ladybug and Cat Noir are a duo and... since Adrien is Cat Noir.

Marinette: How did you find that out?

Luka: Kinda obvious. But since Plagg won't be with Adrien anymore, he insists I would step up as the guardian of the black cat miraculous.

Marinette: That's good to hear.

Luka: Yeah. And since I know you're Ladybug and yourself as the same person, I love you for who you are. I know Adrien may be in love with Ladybug, but he doesn't know who's Ladybug. I did. *He boops her nose and does a little Eskimo kiss, Marinette giggles. *

Marinette: Stop, that tickles. *Luka kisses her nose and lips. *

Luka: I have one more thing. *He held out a small box, he opened it up, and she gasped. *

Marinette: Luka, I'm not ready for that step yet.

Luka: What step?

Marinette: Marriage. *Luka laughed a little bit. *

Luka: Nononononono, this isn't a marriage proposal. This is something different. *He opened the small box and revealed a ring. * It's a ring with an infinity sign. It means... *He put it on her finger. * Our love and our bond will be ever-lasting and nothing will ruin it.

Marinette: Are you sure?

Luka: Yes. I love you Marinette.

Marinette: I love you too, Luka. *They both kiss and hug at the end. *
