What if one of my characters died? I've never done character death.

A week later, Jungkook is cleared to play soccer again. He walks on the field and gets ready. A few of his teammates approach him and says they're happy he's okay.
Halfway through practice, Kook notices that Felix isn't there. He jogs up to Yeonjun. "Hey, where's Felix?"
"Oh, you didn't hear? He quit out of nowhere. No one knows why."
"Oh. That's... weird. He loves soccer."
"You're friends with him, right?"
"Yeah."
"So just ask him why he quit."
"I will."

"Hey."
"Oh, hi."
"What's up with you? Why did you quit?"
"I just don't want to do soccer anymore."
"That doesn't sound like you."
"I just don't want to do it anymore."
"Is it because of Mingyu?"
