chapter 60

eva's pov : 

iam sitting in my office as i was thinking about what happened lately and how crazy this couple of monthes wore 

its been almost a month since the day i confronted my father  , nick took care of my father and when i asked him what he did he said that he didn't kill him but he made sure that he will never disturb us ever again and that i don't have to worry .

since that say i have been going to work normally, Nickolas asked me to rest at home since my morning sickness wasn't getting better but i refused i was never the type that could sit at home and do nothing i have always been an independent woman and i don't wish for that to stop no matter how much i relay on nick  , two weeks ago Leo got discharged from the hospital and he was supposed to come and stay at our place but he ended up staying with Viktor and his excuse was that 'he didn't want to disturb us lovebirds' those wore his exact words , something was going on with him and Viktor but i can't tell what exactly and even bella is acting weird when ever Jason is around she will start acting calm and different and will leave right away , and its making me worried but right now i cant do anything since she doesn't want to tell me about it herself , so i decided to wait for the right moment to ask her .

all of a sudden a knock on the door got me out of my trance , i lifted my head of the papers that have been laying on the desk for a while now and looked at my watch it was already 4 pm 

"come in " i said when Nickolas walked in wearing a grey suit with a white shirt and a smile on his face 

"its about time isn't it ?" nick asked as he walked towards me with big strides , i chuckled at him 

"we still have some time don't we boss ?"

" sorry i cauldnt wait any longer " nick said as he stopped right in front of me , he bent down and squated on the floor , after that he pulled my chair towards him and laid one hand on my stomach and rubbed it gently , i felt warmness fill my heart at the scene in front of me , i lifted my head and gently patted nick's hair 

"you big softy " i chuckled at him 

"dont say that " nick blushed as he said that , it was the first time that i saw him blushing so it took me by surprise 

"come on lets go , we don't want to be late to our doctor appointment " nick said as he stood up and extanded his to me so i can hold it , i nodded my head to him as i took his hand and stood up , i took my phone and my bag and walked with nick while holding hands .

today was the day we were gonna hear our munchkin heartbeat , since we don't know the genre we decided to call it little munchkin , nick has been saying that he is sure that its gonna be a little princess but deep down i can tell its a boy , don't ask me how you can call it a mother feeling or whatever , but i am certain but nick is stubborn as a rock and what makes things worse is the fact that we cant tell the genre until i am at least 4 months pregnant , and this week i hit my two month and a half  mark so we have another month and half  to go before we are certain of  the gender but i don't really care .

we arrived at the hospital at four thirty and we headed towards the OBG right away , we arrived to the reciption and a nurse asked us to wait for a second , after waiting outside for a couple of minutes a nurse came and asked us to go in with her , we walked in and a doctor that i have never seen before was sitting there 

"uhm exuse me but where is DR. Helga ?" the doctor who was probably in his early thirties stood up and fixed his glasses

"oh i am sorry , they must have forgotten to inform you , DR. Helga had an emergency so i will be taking her place today my name is DR. steve " the doctor said as he walked towards us 

"isnt there a female doctor in this hospital ?" all of a sudden nickolas cold voice came through as he glared at the doctor making him shiver and tremble in fear, i took nick hand in mine to calm him down 

"i am sorry , but i am the only one available unless you would like to wait for another day "  i shock my head at the doctor 

"no its okay doctor please ignore him " i said to the doctor as i sent nick a look telling him to behave , i saw nick click his tongue as he nodded his head 

"shall we get started then , please lay down on the bed and left your blouse and revel your abodman  " i nodded my head as i walked towards the bed , nick helped me up on the bed , and helped my to find a comfortable position as i lifted my blouse reveling my slightly formed bump , i saw nick look at my bump and smile making me smile in return 

"okay i am gonna put the gel now , its gonna be a bit cold " i nodded my head again as the docter started rubbing the slightly cold gel on my bump and after that he started moving the handle of the ultrasound machine on my stomach making me stare at the monitor with anticipation , 

"bam , bam, bam ,bam bam " a loud noise started coming all of a sudden making tears blure my eyes 

"is that the heartbeat ?" i asked 

"yes it the heartbeat of a healthy fetus " the doctor said , i felt a hand squeeze my hand and when i looked at nick i found him staring at the monitor with a wide grin on his face 

"are you happy ?" i asked him making him look at me all of a sudden 

"you made me the happiest man on earth love ...."

omg i guess its almost over , two more chapters probably and i will be writing side stories too , so i am sad i guess
