Eva's pov :

the look in his eyes scared the shit out of me, I never saw Nickolas this scared and worried, his hand that holding the phone was trembling slowly, my heart skipped a beat, and I felt like my whole being was in frenzy, I moved my hand to touch his and was startled by how cold his hands were.

"what's wrong nick ?"

"We need to go now, my m____" he stopped talking as if he was going to cry, I knew then that something bad must have happened to his mother, I saw Mrs. smith crying while leaning on her husband, I started trembling in fear, praying that nothing will happen to his mother , if anything happens to her , he will be destroyed 

"its okay nick , everything will be okay , let's go first , Jason will take of everything here "

"yeah don't worry man , you should go now , I will come later "

i took hold of nicks hand and started moving towards the entrance , but before we reached I stopped in my tracks , (god the media is still outside ) I took my phone out and called ben and asked him to get the car towards the underground parking , and meets us there, I took nick with me and started walking towards the elevator we got in and i looked at nick who acted as if he was a doll being dragged behind me , my heart was breaking at this sight , and how i wished i could take all his pain away , i turned towards him and used both of my hands to touch his cheeks , i called his name slowly 

" Nickolas" i saw life getting back to his eyes

"i cant lose her Eva , i know i am selfish , but i just don't want to lose her "

"i know , i won't say i know how you feel because i cant relate , but i know how much pain your in now , that's how much pain i am in when ever i think of losing you, so please don't lose hope" 

he lifted his hand to hold mine and clutch them in his , the elevator doors opened and we started walking towards the car , after getting in we drove towards the hospital , walking in we went towards the VIP section right away , reaching her room we saw doctors and nurses going in and out every two seconds , nick ran toward the doctor and stopped while he shouted 

"mike ! what's going ? what happened ? she was okay this morning ?" 

"Mr. Royal please calm down and lets sit and talk in my office " nick nodded his head following behind the doctor , before stepping in the room the doctor game me a look asking me to wait here 

" its okay , she is family " the doctor looked shocked and for a second you could see his mouth drooping, before we walked in his office and sat down 

" okay MR. royal, I will be honest with you , your mother situation is really bad, her body can't handle the medicine that long , and she has been showing signs of liver failure , at first we could stop it with treatments , but all of a sudden her liver stopped working , which is causing other problems in her body , and there is not much we can do , i am sorry sir "

i can see the color leave nicks face , his face darkness and his hand tremble with anger , i saw him stand up and pull the doctor from his collar dragging him towards him , i stood up hurriedly holding nicks hand back hoping he could calm down 

" are you telling me to let her die , my mother are you crazy , do you have a death wish ?" nick screamed in anger 

" nick calm down please"

" Mr. royal , our hospital has been trying there best , but not much could be done , other than pulling the plug," before the doctor could continue his words nick throw him down and took his phone from his pockets , the air around him was freezing , i saw nick dialing his lawyer phone number , and after a couple of seconds the other side answered
