It was a beautiful spring morning in the forests surrounding Konoha. The sun gleaming off of the morning dew that lay on the grass. Flowers blooming, birds chirping and insects softly buzzing. Yes, today was an absolutely beautiful day to spend training with Pakkun. Or at least that's what the infamous Copy Ninja Kakashi Hatake of the Sharingan thought. After walking deep into the forest Kakashi bit his finger, drawing blood and summoned Pakkun, one of his ninja hounds.

Pakkun the small pug appeared in a puff of white smoke. "Hey Kakashi, what can I do for you?" Pakkun asked. The copy ninja gave him a closed eyed smile. "I thought that maybe we could try search and retrieve training. Naruto and Sakura went and hid 40 small items within a 40 kilometer area. I have no idea where or what the items are. Naruto is going to bring the list of small objects after we've retrieved them. I want to see how quickly we can find all of these items." The silver haired man smiled.
"Okay, but why this all of a sudden?" The dog asked.
"Well, in a few recent missions lately I noticed my eyes are no longer as keen as they used to be. I didn't tell anyone but I've been overlooking tiny details."
"And by searching for small items hidden in a large forested area you think your keen eye skills will improve?"
"That's the plan"
"Alright"
"Begin!"
After shouting to begin, Kakashi and Pakkun both ran off into the forest and began the search.

(Y/n)'s POV:
I woke up late this morning and rushed out of my house. I'm running low on food, medicine, firewood, and many other things so I have to replace and replenish my supplies. The first is food. I still have plenty of dried meat from the rabbit I killed last week. And the pool I dug into the tree roots to keep the small fish alive and fresh still has plenty of little minnows. After meat is mainly grass seeds and nuts to grind into flour and nut butter. Berries and sap to collect and store. And last but not least I have to collect herbs and spices that have run out.

I can't exactly walk into a hospital and ask them to take care of me. I have to make my own medicines, ointments and salves to heal my self. Many of my bandages and other medicinal cloth is made from worm and spider silk. Getting the silk is tricky, the worms here only produce silk to form cocoons and tether them to their surroundings. Spider silk is much more abundant. You just have to make sure that the web is old and the spider is no longer using it. After what felt like hours I finally finished collecting food and medicine. And started on fire wood. After words I think I'll take a nap.

Pakkun's POV:
It's been 30 minutes and Kakashi has found about 18 different items and I've found 19. Naruto must have hid most of these items because his scent is strong. That knucklehead forgot to completely erase his scent. He did good but not good enough. While running through the forest I caught scent of a strangely sweet scent. I followed it, curious if it was coming from another one of the items. I already found Naruto's ramen scented ramen keychain. Maybe he has one that's a sweet.

However I stopped in my tracks. I sniffed the air again finding an unfamiliar scent in the air. I know the scent of pretty much every leaf shinobi and this certainly wasn't one I recognized. I followed the scent to where it was strongest and found nothing. However looking closely I noticed small human like footprints in the dirt. And laid up against a tree trunk sat a doll with (h/l) (h/c) hair tied up into a little ponytail wearing a (f/c) tank top and grey shorts. The scent was definitely coming from the doll and I also felt a strong chakra coming from it too. I picked it up and started running to find Kakashi. I don't know why but I have a feeling that this doll has some sort of jutsu on it. Kakashi would be able to tell for sure.

Kakashi's POV:
I finally found the 40th item. I just have to find Pakkun and let him know. As I started heading back to the rondeau point jumping from branch to branch I noticed something a little strange with a tree that was next to a small stream. I jumped down from the tree branches to get a closer look. It looks likes someone tried to cover something up with a really bad genjutsu. I lifted my headband and used the Sharingan to see what hidden underneath the jutsu.

"Is this supposed to be some kind joke or prank." I spoke to myself. Up along the tree from the roots were some horizontal growing fungus that lead up the tree like stairs to what looked like a cute little tree house. I remember Master Jiraiya talking about the legend of the tiny shinobi clan and thinking about writing a book about a woman who falls in love with a shinobi but cannot exactly "satisfy" the man in normal ways. I always thought it was just a myth but Jiraiya showed me the ruins of what was supposed to be compound they lived in. Minato sensei always wanted to meet one. He would sometimes leave little bits of food for them in the ruins.
I always thought that animals were eating the food but maybe not. If I do find a tiny shinobi I'll introduce them to Naruto in hopes that Minato Sensei's son can at least meet one. I jumped back up into the tree branches and continued on my way to the rondeau point. After about a minute and a half I saw Pakkun waiting for me with something in his mouth. As I got closer I realized it was a doll... wait ... that's no doll. Dolls don't have chakra.
"Hey Pakkun what did you find?" I asked
"I found this strange doll I thought it was suspicious so I brought it to you to see if it's some kind of weapon or an enemy's belonging."
"Alright let me take a look." I took the doll from Pakkun and lifted it up close so I could get a better look. After carefully inspecting the doll I was about to just write it off as odd when the doll started moving on its own.
It quickly sat up right and looked me straight in the eyes. Then it screamed.
(Y/n)'s POV:
I woke up to what felt like an animal's jaws clamped down on my body. The animal was running fast, I know because of how much my body is swaying. Most likely it will get bored of me if I can trick it into believing I'm just an object not a living thing that's possible food. After 20 minutes of this my brain was so scrambled from ordeal and I was super dizzy. I passed out for a moment. When I came too I could feel a giant hand wrapped around my torso and slowly turning me around in their hand. When I opened my eyes I was staring straight into the man's eyes. I screamed.
"Holy s***! Where the heck am I. Who the f*** are you and why was your mutt running around with me in its mouth!"
"Uh... um... please ... calm down. We didn't mean to disturb you, I can explain."
I just growled and glared harshly at the man.
"Again my most sincere apologies. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" He asked as he tilted his head and gave a cute closed eye smile. Darn he's actually kinda cute...
Kakashi's POV:
Oh boy they are scary. I know there tiny but still. So angry. I could only apologize for disturbing them. If looks could kill I would be dead right now.
"Again my most sincere apologies. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" I asked while smiling.
I watched them contemplate and then they sighed pouting slightly. It was kinda cute. "Fine. I can't think of anything right now but as soon as I find something I'll let you know" they said. After that I let them go after bringing them to their house.
