You try your best to answer Keralis' questions. "I'm Reader, I don't really know where I'm from, I came through a portal, I only kinda know the people from Impulse's base, and I uh, wasn't invited," you manage to say in one breath. "Also can you please slow down with the questions?"

Keralis grins. "I came here through a portal too!" he exclaims. Then he drops his voice. "You should avoid Doc and Scar- er, the green guy and the cowboy. They might think you're an alien and kidnap you."

You smile, remembering how Keralis got kidnapped by Doc and Scar during the Area 77 thing. "I'll be careful," you say.

"Keralis!" BDubs hisses, tugging him away from you. "Sorry about him. He's kinda a gremlin."

Before you can say anything, Xisuma speaks up. "Reader," he says calmly. "Do you have any more information on how you got here? Any specific details? I'd like to make sure you're not some hacker trying to destroy Hermitcraft."

You flinch at his uncomfortably calm voice.
