Is it bad that by replaying the clip of Ruruka killing Izayoi makes me feel bad for her?

Ruruka tastes the sweet that she had placed in her mouth. She then kissed Izayoi, but when she was forcing him to eat the sweet treat...the candy fell out of her mouth as Izayoi parted for air.
Izayoi then noticed the candy. "You tried to kill me...didn't you?" He asked. Ruruka was panicking...her plan failed.
"I didn't want to be betrayed. That's why I had to betray you first before you—Mph!" Before Ruruka said anymore, Izayoi kissed her again.
"I don't care Ruruka. Kill me if you have to. You are more important to me than myself." Izayoi then let go of Ruruka.
She slowly gave him a piece of candy in tears but before he ate it, the time limit was over and they all fell unconscious.
