"Liv, honey. You're already fat enough. Why do you keep trying to use tight dresses I mean look at you Hun. The skirt makes your butt look big and not in a flattering way. Your boobs look like they're going to spill out of your dress." Sandy insulted
"Yeah and your stomach isn't flat enough to pull the dress off. It makes you look like you're pregnant. Ugh. You know what, just don't come with us. You're going to ruin our chances of getting dates to the dance." Jasmine claimed
"Yeah. This is our only good chance of getting dates. The party has ton of hot guys and we're not going to let you ruin our chances."
"Exactly. You should just go with that nerd Nickson."
I glanced in my mirror one more time and sighed as they laughed at me. They were my best friends and the queen of the school. They've got to be right. Right? I went back into the bathroom and changed back to sweatpants and a t-shirt. As I exit the bathroom, they were using my make-up products without my permission. My make-up products weren't cheap and they loved to use it just because of that fact. It was mostly Dior, Chanel and Estee Lauder and M.A.C, maybe even a few other brands.
My parents only wanted make-up that wouldn't damage my skin and because they were rich, they bought expensive brands. I think that other brands would do the same no matter the price. Sandy and Jasmine kept applying the products until their face looked cakey but I would never say it to them. They wouldn't even believe me and they'd probably say something back to me and they'd make sure it hurt.
"Hey guys, I think the party has already started. You guys might want to start moving." I said as I opened the door to let them out.
"Oh my gosh! You're right. We have to get going." Sandy said as jasmine and her put on their heels to leave for the party I never attended.
They did get dates. I did go with Nickson. I regretted it. The dress is still in my closet, shoved away in the back of my closet.-end of flashback-
I walked away with Jace and Jer and met up with the rest of the group by the science garden. It was our usual hang out spot. Not many knew about the place. Probably only the geeks knew about the place. We found it when we were in the fifth grade and it became our hang out spot ever since. It was a little garden but big enough to be filled with many beautiful plants. In the middle, there was a fish pond filled with Koi fishes. The garden is always being monitored by the school gardener, Jack, and there were a few cameras placed there.
We spotted the rest of the gang under the huge oak tree, right beside the pond and strolled over to them. They were lying under tree just chatting about the new kid coming here. There was a new kid coming in this year. Caleb and Danny were hoping that it was a hot girl but, I was pretty sure it won't be a girl. Nothing ever goes as planned.
" I hope that the chick is single" Danny smirked
" Yeah. Single and available. I call dibs" Caleb joked.
" Yeah yeah. Let me just call Jordie and tell her"
" No, no. I don't think you need to do that. I love her just fine"
"you guys are idiots" I said as I smacked their heads and sat down beside them.
Jer and Jace sat down along with me and chatted about soccer. While Jer was the captain of the team, I was running for co-captain. Jace, Danny and Caleb played basketball rather than soccer but watched all of our matches and vice versa. Danny had blue eyes and one dimple on his right cheek. Danny wasn't exactly a ladies' man. He dated a lot but never had a girlfriend. He says he's waiting for the right one. He was the class clown and everyone loved him. He wasn't what you would call buff but he also wasn't skinny. He was a lanky guy who had meat on his bones and wasn't too buff.
