chapter 5

Hinata p .o .v

I woke up in agony. Pain flowing through every part of my body, I dont think I could even stand with the throbbing of my lower back and ass. I rolled over to look at the time, and I noticed it read 6:27 am I over slept!!!! I didnt have enough time to cover my bruises and cuts on my neck and face as father usually wakes up at 6:45 and I wasnt gonna risk it I'll figure something out when i get to school. I sprinted downstairs. I grabbed a pen to write a note to Father. He struggled as he wrote the last line of the letter

To father,

                   Today I'm leaving to go on a training camp with my team. I'll be staying at northcott Bakersfield and I will be back on sunday night. I will make sure no one finds out so dont worry.

I placed the note somewhere where I know father could see it and raced to school as I didn't want to be late and miss the bus. When i got there, coach Ukai was standing outside the bus, and everyone else was already seated. When ukai saw me, I saw the panic on his face as he raced towards me. I just gave him a giant enthusiastic smile like usual.

"Hinata! What happened to you?!" Ukai shouted
"Ahaha I fell off my bike on my way here cuz I was scared of being late ahaha sorry" I continued to smile as he gave me a weary look then he sighed and said "you have to be more careful we would have waited for you now go get on the bus"

" ahaha ok I'll be more careful next time" i said with an eccentric smile as i walked past him to get on the bus as I got on i heard gasps of the other team members reacting to how i looked.

"Hinata, are you okay!"  Shouted suga

"W..what ha..happened hinata?" Asahi freaked out

"Who dared to touch my kohai?" shouted Tanaka and Noya in unison

"Everyone calm down, stop crowding him and let him explain," said daichi, calming everyone down.

"Well funny story I woke up late this morning and was worried I was going to be late so I was rushing and ended up falling off my bike ahaha sorry I'm late" I just continued to smile "sooo......where am I sitting?" Everyone started in amazement at me

" Are you not sore? It looks like it hurts, " said suga

"Nah, I've felt worse," I said, continuing to smile and then realising what i said and seeing their faces of worry. ahaha, smart one, hinata, make them worry, why dont you? "Ahahaha." After I laughed, their faces softened

"Well, hinata, you can sit beside me if you want," suga said with a pink tint to his cheeks. " There's also a seat beside tsukishima

"Ok, suga, I'll sit with you," I said with my best smile

Sugas reply to this was a crimson red blush that colour that I hate so much as everytime I see it I rember that night and all the blood I just stood there frozen staring at that colour until I feel a tap on my back I winced in pain and crouched down turning round giving up my facade and giving them a cold stare until i realised it was tsukishima he was giving me a look like he found a new toy to play with I've seen that look before it's the look my father gives to me before he does that. I sat there fear. In my eyes, suga came over to me and helped me up and led me to the seat beside his.

There was something about suga it was relaxing  I felt I could just lay back and close my eyes, and nothing bad would happen. I glanced to the seat across from me and it was tsukishima still giving me that smile that sent shivers down my spine trying to avoid his gaze I hung onto suga's arm hiding my face from the stares I felt piercing my facade.
