If I sink through you my roots,
And I seek to grow through you.
When your soul is what I seek,
How could you still nourish me?

When I treat you like I do,
Sometimes I may be hurtful too.
Still, my side you'd never leave,
Why would you not punish me?

Could you, in these gardens bloom,
Where I sow indifference & gloom?
When I plant the seeds of nothing,
How can you even flourish still?

Atleast after all this, it's comforting,
To I wish that only I was hurting.
I'm as shallow as the iridescent pools,
That seep from your eyes like jewels.
