I have my backpack on,
a school field trip?
What kind of school goes to a store?
An aquarium?
I don't know,
it looks like a mix of the two.
I walk into a room,
it has bugs and
lizards,
and snakes.
I don't like the bugs,
so I just change my focus to the geckos.
I go to a room in the back.
It's a gift shop of some sort and
right now they're having a special give away.
If you buy anything,
they'll give you a cool blanket to take home for free.
I decide to look around for anything I want.
I see a sign,
3 dollars for a shark.
I go over.
There in small tanks are mini hammerheads.
They are about 5 inches long.
Wanna hold one?
The clerk gently picks up a hammerhead and
rests it in my hands.
It's so tiny and
that's how small they'll stay,
forever.
I want it.
Once I'm done getting my new shark in a case with water,
I get a new free blanket.
After I leave the gift shop,
I realize I'm no longer carrying them in hand.
(Maybe it's in my inventory.)
I take my first step and
I hear a splosh.
Water seems to have run out from the aquarium.
I was just there,
what happened.
Just then,
all the bugs,
all the lizards,
even side attractions like monkeys,
ran out into the building I was in.
I ran off.
This place looked like a mixture of things.
A workplace,
a Walmart,
a McDonald,
an aquarium.
Everything was mashed together.
Then,
I saw my friends from school,
and even one of my teachers.
Why are they here?
I walked down an aisle that turned into a toy section.
At the end of the aisle,
I could see something stretched out on the floor.
It was black with neon green diamonds scattered along it.
Thing is,
it seemed to stretch past the end of the aisle.
I knelt down to get a look at it.
I touched it,
it was smooth and
flexed.
I tensed up and
looked to one end,
this black and green body,
was a massive anaconda.
It reared its head up to look at me.
It had shining yellow eyes and
a red tongue that flicked at me.
I ran off screaming,
Anaconda.
I grabbed and
warned everyone who would listen to me.
An old woman,
who I didn't know,
went to check.
I looked back as I ran and
saw her being swallowed whole.
I found my family and friends and
told them we had to leave.
One of my friends weren't convinced and
stayed,
while my other friends made our way to the exit.
My family had gotten the car ready and
while I threw my bag into trunk,
I saw the entrance of the building flood open with humans, water, and
comically two monkeys running out there whilst holding hands.
We got into the car and
left.
How did that anaconda get out?
When did it?
Where was the anaconda in the aquarium?
What about the people who stayed?
Will they be ok?
Will they take it down with, say, a chainsaw?
