Two months later
Frankie was working a shift at the diner. Her boss gave her old job back to her. She found another doctor who told her she was having girls. Bucky tried calling her every day for the first month.
She ignored his calls his text messages. He had bought Frank a new Range Rover just so he could see her without her noticing whenever he came into the city for meetings.
Charles hated seeing him so upset it was the Bucky that they all had seen 11 years ago. When Sienna left him at the altar he was heart broken for months. Frankie kept in touch with Winnie and Vivian.
She let them know that the twins were girls. Charles had enough of Bucky's depression. Most days he didnt even get out of bed.
Charles figured out where she worked through Vivian. He drove into the city one afternoon. He found the diner and he saw her in the window.
She pointed to the booths in her section. She got him cup of coffee and apple pie. "Do you got a minute so we can talk?" Charles said
"Yeah.." she said when she saw that it was her break time.
She sat down across from him. "I hope you are doing okay darlin." He said
"I am.." she said
"I wanted to talk to you because he will never admit it cause he is just to scared. He is afraid to love again Francesca. When he was 16 he fell hard for a little red head named Sienna Marcus. They were crazy in love always flirting. When they were 18 they got engaged. She spent two years planning the wedding with her mom and Winnie. The fall of their sophomore year was when the wedding happened. It got to the part where they are suppose to say I do. James said his I Do with a big smile on his face. But then it was her turn and she couldnt say it all she could say was Im sorry and gave back the ring. He chased after her but she was gone. And I know him he spent every day trying to figure out what he did wrong. Finally one day he told us that he would never fall in love again he didnt want babies either. My once so full of life grandson was becoming a different person." He said
She wiped tears. "I know he loves you. He hasn't been himself since you left. He has been staying out at my house for the last two months. He sleeps he drinks and works from my office unless he has to come to the city. He misses you darlin. I know what he did was wrong he should of never put you in that position. And Im very sure he has learned his lesson. But dont give up on him just yet." He said as he grabbed her hand.
She looked down. "Take your time sweetheart. But remember that those two girls are part him too." He said as he hands her two $50 dollar bills.
"I'll get you change." She said
"No its your tip darlin. I hope we get to see you soon." Charles said and he left.
That night Charles found Bucky smoking a cigar. He sat beside him "go home shower shave this mess off. Buy some roses and go get her and by her I mean Francesca. You have a second chance at love." He said as he lit his cigar.
"Grandpa.." Bucky said
"Go on. Its time you do this right for her." Charles said as he puffed his cigar.
Bucky looked down. "James Sienna cheated. Natasha told your mother that Sienna slept with someone else the night of her bachelorette party. She got pregnant by the guy. Now fucking man up and go get Frankie back." Charles said
Bucky rolled his eyes and said "Im going home. You are being a dick grandpa. And she told me about the cheating." He said as he walked out.
He grabbed his stuff and went home.
