A few weeks later Bucky sent her a text.
"Frank is on his way to get you. He is taking you to meet me. I have a surprise for you."
"A surprise?"
"Yes..now be ready."
She rolled her eyes and went to get dressed. Twenty minutes later Frank arrived. She got in the car and she started to notice they were going towards the way to the Barnes estate.
They went past James and Winnie's house then past Vivian and Charles' house. They pulled up in front of a house that was three houses down.
Frank parked next to Bucky's Audi. He stepped out of the car with his sunglasses on. He helped her out of the town car.
"Who lives here?" She said
"Nobody yet." He said as he took her inside.
He walked her all over the house to show her all the bedrooms. The theatre room the indoor pool. The big kitchen and living room.
She loved the master suite. "James..I.." she said
"Baby I know what you said but this has more room for you and the babies. Ill be here every weekend." He said
Tears started to roll down her cheeks. "Frankie baby.." he said
"I dont want to be here alone." She said as she walked away.
"Baby my job is in the city. Your apartment isnt kid friendly." He said as he followed her.
"Frankie stop." He said as he stood in front of the door.
She kept her head down. "Frankie..this isnt real love you know that. I asked you to do this for me. I didnt mean for it to get this far. But I dont want a real marriage.." he said
She looked up at him "then let me go. Terminate the contract and let me go. If they are boys I will give up my rights to your parents. But Im done playing pretend if all I am to you is a sex slave and baby maker. I rather go find someone that actually loves me instead of pretending that he does." She said
"Frankie dont do this.." he said
"Let me go!" She yelled
"Frankie dont yell.." he said
She took over her ring gave it back to him and moved him. "Francesca please dont do this.." he said
"Ill be out by Friday..and go back to my old life." She said as she got in the town car.
"Frankie dont.." he said as he ran to his car and followed them home.
He ran up her stairs as she started to pack her stuff. "Frankie..baby please dont leave me." He said
"Why in the hell should I fucking stay?! You dont love me you want to move me out of the city and screw around during the week and come home to me to play happy family!" She yelled
"Frankie.." he said
"I cant be this girl anymore. I cant stand before you next summer and marry you. I dont want to marry you if you dont love me." She said as she left her keys and debit card on her dresser.
"Frankie I need you to stay with me baby.." he said
"I cant be here..you are just going to continue to break my heart. And I deserve better..I want someone that loves me back for once instead of me being the only one falling." She said as she walked out.
Bucky felt hot tears fall down his cheeks. He saw the picture frame on her wall. He took down and threw it against the wall and it shattered.
Frankie got a cab to Soho to go back to the girls. They always told her she could come back if things fell apart. She locked herself in her old room and cried herself to sleep.
Bucky stayed at her apartment as he cried. The next day he went to see his parents and grandparents. After he told them everything including the contract Winnie walked over to him and smacked him hard across the face.
"You tricked us James Buchanan.." Vivian said
"What are you going to do now about the babies? You have probably ruined everything!" Winnie yelled.
Charles looked at his grandson. "Im sorry.." he whispered as he walked away with his head hung low.
"James..come with me." Charles said as he took him to the cigar room.
"Talk to me my boy." Charles said as he poured him scotch.
They were both leaning against his desk. "You do love her..why didnt you tell her that?" Charles said
"Because I dont.." he said
"James for 31 years I have watched you grow up. I watched you fall in love with so many girls. When the thing with Sienna happened I know you were hurt James. But she isnt coming back its been 11 years. You have to let the hope of her returning go. You are never gonna be happy my boy. You had a girl in Francesca that would give you the love you deserve if you just let go of Sienna." Charles said
Bucky finished off the scotch. "Do you mind if I stay here and use your office grandpa..I just need some time alone.." he said as he poured more scotch.
"Sure my boy." He said as he hugged him from the side.
Bucky went back into the city packed a bag. Had everything in Frankie's apartment moved to his penthouse. He drove back out to his grandparents house and took one of the guest bedrooms.
