Chapter 2

Taylor's *POV*
I was sitting in the living room watching tv when one of those sad orphanage commercials came on.
"Guys?" I said.
"What?" Nash asked me.
"I'm going to adopt." I said. They all gave me a look that read 'are you crazy'.
"I want to do it." I said.
"Well, if it's what you want to do, then I'm up for it." Shawn said. We drove down to the orphanage down the road. When we walked in this nice lady at the front welcomed us.
"Hi! Are you looking to adopt? It's our adoption day today!" She said all cheery. That was kind of a coincidence.
"Yes actually we are." I said.
"Okay. What age are you interested in?" She asked.
"Probably 12-15." I said looking at the guys and they nodded their heads. She handed us some files and we looked through them. One really stood out to me. Her name was Lily. She was 13 years old, enjoyed cheerleading, gymanstics, and other stuff like that.
"This is her." I told Matt. He nodded his head.
"We would like her." I said pointing to Lily's picture. She nodded her head and went to get her.
Lily's *POV*
I went to my room to get my stuff which was actually quite a lot! I grabbed my neon pink suitcase and stuffed all of my makeup, clothes, shoes, ect. inside of it. I ran downstairs towards the lobby, but ran into the MacKenzie and Kaley's room where everyone else was.
"Guys..." I said sadly hoping to trick them.
"What? What's wrong?!" Jordan asked worried.
"I'm getting adopted!" I screamed.
"AHHH!! Lily! That's so great!" Paige said, a tear sliding down her cheek. I hugged all of them and told them to text me every single day. I quickly grabbed my stuff and ran downstairs to the lobby. A million thoughts raced through my head. I bet the mom was beautiful! And the dad was tall, and handsome, and I'd have siblings! All those thought vanished when I got down the stairs. Right before my eyes, I saw 9 boys.
"Hi Lily!" A boy with a red bandana told me. "I'm Taylor, and that's Matt, Nash, Shawn, Carter, Aaron, Jack, Jack, and Cameron." He said pointing to them all. Wow. That's a lot of people to remember. Do they all live together?
"Hi!" I said.
"Well, someone's excited!" I think Matt said. We got all of my stuff and headed outside. Taylor, or Dad (that's what he told me to call him) loaded all of my stuff into the trunk. Not all of us could fit into the car, so I had to sit on Shawn's lap, and let's just say, I'm almost taller than him, so we were laughing the whole way back to the house! Whenever we pulled I to the driveway, I couldn't believe my eyes! Their house was three stories! I stared in awe as the boys and I went into the house. Dad led me up the stairs and into a big room with a window seat, a walk in closet, a balcony, ect. I was amazed!
"Well, I think someone likes what she sees." He said laughing.
"Thank you so much!" I said running over to him and hugging him.
"It's amazing." I muffled into his shirt. Me, Dad, Matt, and Shawn all went to the mall to pick out some stuff for my room. Dad drove, Matt sat shotgun, and Shawn and I were in the back. When we arrived to the mall, we went into different stores. We got a comforter for my bed, lights to hang up around my room because you know me, always wanting everything tumblr, paint for my room, rugs, some pictures, a big comfy chair, and way more! When we got home, me, Dad, and Jack G. all started to paint my room. It was grey and white chevron on the wall my bed was against, and my other walls were a turquoise color. After we finished painting, we put everything else in.
"We have another surprise for you!" Matt told me.
"What?!" I yelled excitedly.
"Wait. Do you have anything to blindfold you with real quick?" He asked me.
"Ummm... Oh! I have my bandanas!" I said.
"Okay, you are definitely my child!" Dad said. I put the blindfold around my head while Matt led me downstairs. He unblindfolded me and I couldn't believe what I saw!
"While we were our shopping, we told the other boys how much you liked cheer and gymnastics, so we made basically a home gym!" Dad said. I started crying because I've always wanted this!
"Thank you so much!" I yelled jumping into his arms.
"Well, go ahead and show us what you've got!" He told me.
I went onto the tumbling floor and threw a front walkover front handspring front tuck step out round off back handspring double whip full rebound round off back handspring whip back tuck back handspring full. Everyone clapped and I bowed. I can already tell I was going to love it here.
