Sasuke x Reader Sequel

Sakura

I sat on the roof of the building that Yamato had fixed, looking down at the scene below me. Sakura, and a few other people had come with her, and she had confessed that she likes Naruto.

"W-what did you just say, Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked her. "I think I had something in my ears, What did you say again?" he asked her.

"I said.. I said I love.. I said I love you, Naruto. I said, I don't care about Sasuke-kun anymore. I was wrong to love someone like him all this time. You should listen more carefully when someone's confessing to you!" she scolded.

"But why? Why now? If this is a joke, it's not very funny, Sakura-chan." Naruto said to her. "What happened to you?" he asked her.

"Nothing, I just opened my eyes." she said. "How could I be in love with a rouge ninja? A criminal? I can't stay a child forever. It's time I woke up to reality. That's why Naruto, forget about that promise you made to me." she said, smiling.

"Ah, that's what this is about.." I realized.

"Now, you'll be able to stop chasing after Sasuke, right?" she asked.

"Sakura-chan, did something happen to you?" Naruto asked. "Why are you saying stuff like that all of a sudden?" he asked. I silently jumped down from the roof, landing beside Kakashi and Yamato.

"I already said nothing happened. It's obvious why I would fall for someone like you." Sakura said trying to convince Naruto, she then hugged him.

"Sasuke-kun keeps getting farther and farther away from me. But you, Naruto, have always been by my side. You always tried to cheer me up. I finally realize you for who you are, Naruto. Even with Pein, you came back when we really needed you. You became the hero who protected our village. Everyone in the village loves you. And now, I'm one of them. I watched you from a mischievous prankster to a really wonderful person. But Sasuke continues with his sins. He continues to break my heart. He's gradually becoming a stranger to me. But Naruto, you're someone I can reach. You put me at ease. Right now, from the bottom of my heart I-" Naruto pushed her off, stepping away from the hug.

"That's enough Sakura-chan. I said I don't think this joke is funny!" Naruto said to her.

"Why are you so angry? All I said was I like you now, instead of Sasuke-kun." she said. "A woman's heart can change like the wind, you know?"

"I hate people who lie to themselves." Naruto said to her.

"I'm lying to myself?" she asked. "I decide my own true feelings! If you hate me, then just say it to my face, instead of making stupid excuses!" Sakura said.

"But its weird isn't it? For you to come all the way out here just to tell me that?" he asked.

"Just to tell you that? Just to tell you that?! Do you really think its that easy for a girl to confess her feelings?! Coming all the way out here just to tell you that? Of course I'd come out here. Always thinking about Sasuke-kun, always chasing after him, getting yourself into dangerous situations! You're the Kyuubi's Jinchuuriki and Akatsuki's after you! Try to worry more about yourself for a change! I'm telling you that you don't have to chase after Sasuke-kun and get yourself into dangerous situations anymore!" she said to him, "I came after you because I want you to return to the village! That's all." she said.

"All I'm hearing is just a lame excuse. I know you better then that." he said. "It's not about the promise. Why Sasuke became obsessed with vengeance and started acting like this... I think I've started to understand it a little. Sasuke loved his family and his clan. Since his love for them was so deep, I don't think he can forgive what happened to them easily." Naruto said.

"Then why did he join Akatsuki after defeating the unforgivable Itachi?" Kiba asked.

"It wasn't like that.." I thought, and Naruto said the same thing.

"Actually.." Naruto began.

"Naruto." Kakashi stopped him.

I walked up to Naruto and placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked at me. He nodded saying he was fine and I nodded. "It doesn't matter if the promise I made with you is gone. I personally want to save Sasuke." Naruto said to her.

"That's enough. I'm going back." Sakura said turning and leaving, the others leaving with her.

I sighed and felt a hand on my shoulder and it was Yamato. "You and Sasuke.. are still?" he quietly asked and I nodded.

"He doesn't tell me a lot. He doesn't like me being involved, but I got roped in and ended up knowing certain things. Everything I know, you also know already." I said looking at Kakashi and Naruto.

"If it came down to it.." Yamato asked me.

"You mean... if Sasuke attacks the village?" I asked and he nodded.

"I may love Sasuke but I love the village more." I smiled looking down at the ground. "It's the place where I grew up, with mom and dad.. where I met Itachi.. Sasuke.. Kakashi, Rin, Obito, you get the idea." I said quietly and sniffled a bit rubbing my eyes. "The cold is making me a bit sick.." I said smiling.

"It's okay." he said rubbing my shoulder.

"Thanks, Tenzo." I teased and he just groaned. "Sorry, sorry."
