My eyes are gone
I cannot see.
The darkness scares
and tortures me.
My ears now burn
I cannot hear.
No light, no sound,
I'm filled with fear.
Carry me
my legs are broken.
Pity me
last words are spoken.
Cool rush of water
I wish to float.
Sinking slowly
for there is no boat.
Sinking faster,
no reason left to try
darkness falls
and then there's light.
I see, I walk
and now I hear
No reason left
for me to fear.
