The babies went to bed at around 7 pm so it was adult time which means everyone gets a bottle for themselves so I handed out whiskey, vodka and rum bottles "Hello, handsome devil," I whispered to my husband as I sat on his right thigh. There was a fireplace in the middle of the circular patio furniture.

"What are we playing tonight?" Mariano said as he opened his whiskey bottle.

"Something fun and revealing," Valentina grinned looking at the fire "truth or dare?"

"I'm in," I said resting my head on Apollo's shoulder "put your hand where I like it," I whispered.

Apollo hugged my waist with his right arm "I want more beach sex," he whispered into my ear causing me to smile "and bathroom sex, and kitchen sex," he chuckled as he tickled my waist and I immediately pushed his hand away giggling.

"Kids!" Mariano clapped twice "can we not fuck for an hour and play something decent?" he groaned.

I blushed looking his way "Sure, sorry."

"I start," Valentina confirmed and then hummed "Apollo," she pointed at my husband "truth or dare?"

Mariano chuckled looking my way "Truth or dare, signora del capo?"

"Verità," I replied taking the bottle from my husband's grasp.

I took a big sip of the rum and nodded as I gave the bottle back to hubby "Yeah, his name was Luis and he was the gardener; he used to leave a white rose along with a red one at my window but one day one of the guards caught him doing it and the next day I was scrubbing blood off my wooden floors while my dad screamed 'you have an owner! you're not free!' that's why I have the branding tattoo and the reason why I never looked at another man that wasn't my father in the eye until I met the love of my life," I looked into my husband's eyes and he was giving me that sad but happy and pitiful look he gives me whenever we talk about my past.

"Woah," Valentina said "that's pretty fucked up."

"That's only the tip of the iceberg," I showed her a sad smile "anyway: truth or dare?"

Valentina seriously chugged down half a bottle of vodka in front of my eyes before answering "Truth, I'm feeling myself."

I nodded and sighed when I finally had it "I just told you a deep, dark memory now you tell us one."

"Easy," she glanced at Mariano and he immediately seemed uncomfortable "I lost a child of a man I once loved. I was 17 and he 23 but he never knew, the only one who knows is my brother."

"That's enough, Valentina," Mariano warned looking at the fire.

"It isn't," she stood up and came to sit to my right "he had the most charming smile in the world, I thought he loved me because he fucked me like one fucks the love of their life," tears sprung her eyes.

"Valentina, if it hurts you then–"

"Let me finish!" she screamed in a crazy tone and then stood up "he fooled me and I fell for his stupid Italian tricks! He would fuck me everywhere and after it smile at me as if I had done a pleasing job so I thought he was happy, I thought I could win this war I had been in since I fell for him...I thought he loved me back but then I found him with another woman in the same bed where he had made love to me the previous night," she spat looking my way.

"That coward doesn't deserve your tears, my darling," I reached for her hand and she took a step back as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Valentina sniffled and that's when I realized she wasn't looking at me "You're sitting on that coward's legs," she took a sip of her drink and threw it to the fireplace causing the flame to grow.

I got my first tattoo today and finally FINALLY updated! I'm sowy! School is a bitch!
