"Naruto!" I yelled and he paused. "You're a jinchuriki." I reminded him.
"So what?" he asked.
"Meaning, Danzo is going to do everything he can to keep you in the village." I said walking towards him. "Throwing you in prison, for going against his ruling is the best way to do that." I said.
"Once you are, you can't go after Sasuke." Kakashi said.
"Stay calm for now." I said placing a hand on his shoulder.
Naruto and Sakura seemed to understand and walked in the other direction. "..They're going to look for Sai." I crossed my arms, watching the two of them walk farther away.
"Most likely." Kakashi nodded. "What are you going to do?" He asked me.
"What can I do?" I asked smirking. "The leader of the underground ANBU organization has become Hokage. I can't be sneaking around doing things he finds suspicious." I said. "I'm going to follow them. It would be... nice to know more about Danzo." I smiled and hurried after Naruto and Sakura.
I finally caught up to them both and we all went to find Sai.
"We were just looking for you!" Sakura said to him.
"We wanted to ask you something." Naruto said.
"What is it?" Sai asked.
"We want you to tell us everything you know about Danzo." Sakura said.
"I can't." Sai responded.
"Why not?" Naruto asked.
"Don't tell me, you're with him again?" Sakura asked.
"No, it's nothing like that. I'm not able to say anything about Danzo-sama, because of this." Sai said and showed his tongue which had a weird seal on it.
"A cursed seal?" Sakura asked.
"Yes, it was done by Danzo-sama." Sai answered. "If I attempt to speak about Danzo-sama, my entire body will be paralyzed and I will be unable to move or speak." he explained. "All members of Root have it." he said.
"He's definitely careful.." I mumbled.
"His methods may be aggressive, but he care about the village as much as you do." Sai said.
"Them why did he dismiss Tsunade-sama's decision about Sasuke-kun?!" Sakura asked.
"Really? I haven't heard anything regarding Sasuke-kun." Sai answered.
"In Danzo's eyes, Sasuke is a rouge ninja, and danger to the village, and so... must be eliminated.." I said and the three of them looked at me.
"How about telling us what you know about Sasuke?" We all turned to see some red headed girl holding her sword out towards us. "Seems like he's a close friend of yours." she said glaring at us.
I pulled out my own Katanna and moved to attack the woman but she rolled over the back of her partner to dodge me. I scoffed as Sai and Sakura attempted to flank them but I ducked as one of them tried to kick me, and kicked Sakura, sending her flying back. Naruto caught her, and Sai and I stood in front of Naruto and Sakura facing the two ninjas.
I caught a glimpse at their forehead protectors seeing they were from the Hidden Cloud. "What the hell are you doing?" Naruto asked them.
"You guys were talking about Sasuke earlier, weren't you?" the male asked us. "Tell us what you know!" he ordered.
"What do you have against him?" I asked.
"A lot! He attacked our village!" the male said.
"That bastard kidnapped our master!" The red head yelled. "He could be dead for all we know!" she said.
"It can't be.. Why would Sasuke-kun do such a thing?" Sakura asked them.
"How are we supposed to know what Akatsuki's thinking?!" the male asked.
"Akatsuki?" I asked.
"You're kidding right? Sasuke is a member of Akatsuki!" the girl said.
"Because you guys wouldn't take care of your rouge-nin, our Raikage sent us here!" the boy said. "We've already received permission from the Hokage to deal with the Uchiha!"
"Damn it if Sasuke kidnapped their master.. and Sasuke is Akatsuki.. their master is most likely a Jinchuriki.." I sighed. "The Akatsuki capture jinchuriki in teams... Sasuke isn't skillful enough to capture a jinchuriki.." I mumbled. "Hidan was killed or buried by Shikamaru.. Deidara died, Sasori died.. Kakashi killed Kakuzu.. Pein was killed here... that leaves... Kisame... Tobi.. Zetsu... and one other member.." I mumbled, mentally counting the members. "Zetsu can't exactly fight... Kisame is unlikely to partner with Sasuke, even less for "Tobi" ... Sasuke did have those team mates.. so maybe they were with him?" I thought, easily narrowing down the list of potential teammates.
"Hey, what are you mumbling about!" The Cloud ninja asked me.
"Nothing." I replied with a smile.
I looked down at Sakura to see her crying. "If you've got time to cry, tell us everything you know about Sasuke!" the red head yelled.
"Oh, shut up." I rolled my eyes, glaring at her.
"What?!" She asked me.
I scoffed and crossed my arms. "You said the order was given to kill Sasuke, right?" I asked, "And it was our Hokage who gave you the permission. You should've received all our information regarding Sasuke and the Akatsuki. You wouldn't need us to tell you anything." I said.
"Sure enough, our Captains waiting on that information right now. We just couldn't sit by if there was a chance of learning anything else." the girl said.
"Do you think we could just sit around?! When we don't even know what happened to our master.." the boy said.
"Your master... is he a jinchuriki?" Naruto asked.
"How'd you know that?" the guy asked.
"The Akatsuki are currently hunting down all Jinchuriki, one through nine." I said.
"I'm a Jinchuriji. I'm as involved in this as he is." Naruto said. "They need to capture the Jinchuriki alive. So, there's a good chance your master is still alive." Naruto added.
"Before you deal with Sasuke, you should think about saving your master." I said.
"I'll help you guys save your master, I'll give you any information regarding the Akatsuki." Naruto said.
"I guess I'll also tell you what I know." I said.
"Alright then, come with us. Tell us everything you know about Sasuke." the red head said.
"(Y/n), stay here. I'll go." he said to me.
"You sure?" I asked and he smiled.
"Leave it to me." he said.
".. Alright." I said, and watched as he left with the two of them, feeling uneasy.
