Someone once asked me
"What is depression exactly?"
And my answer? Well shockingly it came out better than I thought.
Depression is a different definition for everyone. Sometimes it means not getting out of bed for weeks. Sometimes not talking to anyone for hours or days. Whether it be social or physical it's still depression. Pain. The hurting feeling and the twisting and turning in your stomach. The ache in your heart when someone doesn't respond to your texts or you just sit there waiting for them to make the first move. Or there is the people who say they have depression when really it's just a moment of sadness. 'Cause see when you have depression it lasts for awhile and it won't go away unless a dramatic positive change happens. Could be moving to a different location or your parents got remarried. But is there really a cure for depression? Because those little anti-depressant pills aren't going to boost your happiness. It takes patience. I know hearing that sounds terrible but really it does. I refuse to wait and just deal with life as it is until death seeks my attention. My honest opinion, there is no cure for depression. The therapist and pills just trick you into that. There will always be a black sad cloud in us, and it's name is Depression.
