The human opened his eyes and took in a sharp breath.

He felt like he had had a horrible dream, but he couldn't remember what it was. "Stupid dream," he said, rubbing his eyes, but even as he said it, he had no idea how a dream could be stupid if he couldn't remember it.

He held a hand over his eyes against the bright light. When his eyes had finally adjusted, he looked around. He was in a peaceful forest. A gentle breeze ruffled the grass around him. Some oak trees casted soft shadows on the even softer ground. The sky was an azure clear blue.

He smiled. This was much better. Then he looked down at himself. He realized he was wearing a light blue tee-shirt, dark blue pants, and black boots. They felt light and smooth on his skin. Suddenly, his smile faded away. He didn't remember putting these on. He didn't remember how he got here.

His eyes widened.

He couldn't remember his name.
