*Serena's POV
I knew the day would come when I would compete for my first princess key! I was super excited but also super nervous at the same time. I really wanted to impress my friends and my mom, most importantly Ash. But anyways enough introduction, the story of my first key begins Wednesday during Pokemon Performing....
"Careful upon entry" Drew warned again
"I think we get it" Ash replied
We walked in and we were surprised to see there was no surprised in store for today so we were really weirded out
"No surprise?" Dawn asked
"No surprise" Aria confirmed with a smile
"Is there some kind of special occasion?" I asked
"You could say that" Jason answered
"Well whats going on then!" Shauna exclaimed
"Performance Showcases for Princess Keys are going to begin with the first one here in Lumiose on Friday" Aria revealed
"Wow! Im totally ready!" Shauna replied
"I am too, and I won't loose" Miette declared
"So your going to compete Serena?" Ash asked me
"Yeah I am, sorry about our original plan" I apologized and he gave me a confused look
"No problem! Just make sure you give it your all" Ash advised
"Thanks Ash" I replied with a smile
"Looks like the three of you will be competing then" Aria said with a smile
"We sure will" Miette confirmed
"This will be some interesting competition" Gary pointed out
"You got that right" Tierno agreed
"And we'll finally get to see live performances!" Mallow exclaimed
"I cant wait" Lana added
"They're really great in person! You can really see and feel all the effects" Dawn replied
"Hey Ash, I don't believe we've had a battle yet" Sawyer said
"Thats right. How about we have one right now?" Ash suggested
"Sounds good to me!" Sawyer agreed
*Skip 5 minutes
"This will be a one on one Pokemon battle! Once either Pokemon are unable to continue, the match will end. Trainers, bring out your Pokemon!" Clemont stated
"Go Sceptile!" Sawyer shouted
"Go Charizard!" Ash shouted back
"Surely an interesting match up" Kiawe said
"I can't wait to see Ash's approach to Sceptile" May replied
"Well what happened last time?" Gary asked
"Mega Sceptile got one hit k.o'd by Mega Lucario's gigantic Flash Cannon" Shauna answered
"Hmm..." Gary replied
"Let the match begin!" Clemont then shouted
"Looks like theres no Mega Evolution today" Dawn pointed out
"He's missing the scarf" Mallow replied
"Sceptile use Dragon Pulse!" Sawyer started as usual
