We join Ash and Serena late at night on a Friday as they talk in Serena's bedroom....
"So how about you teach me how to battle tomorrow morning?" Serena asked
"Sure! I'd be glad to show you the basics" Ash answered
"The basics?" Serena then asked
"Well everyone has a different battling style Serena, your gonna have to figure that out on your own" Ash answered
"Oh, ok" She replied
"Anyways, it's getting pretty late" Ash said as he stretched
"Right, your fine with sleeping on this bed right?" Serena asked in response as she pointed to the bed on the other side of her room
"Sure!" Ash replied
*Skip to next morning
It was about 8 in the morning and Ash woke up for one reason or another
"Looks like I woke up early" Ash said quietly
"Pika!" Pikachu replied also quietly
"Do I wake up Serena or do I wait though...." Ash wondered
"Pikachu" Pikachu sighed
"I guess your right" Ash replied
Ash then sat up and went on his phone as he waited for Serena to wake up. Surprisingly though she woke up 15 minutes later
"Ash?" Serena asked
"Oh hey Serena, I didn't know you would be up this early" Ash responded
"I didn't think you would be up this early either" Serena said
"Me neither" Ash agreed
"Well I'll go make breakfast" Serena said
"Thanks Serena!" Ash said
"No problem Ash, but can you do me a favor?" Serena asked
"Sure!" Ash replied
Serena then reached over and grabbed the Pokeball containing Fennekin and released her
"Can you look after her while I make breakfast?" Serena asked
"Of course!" Ash answered
"Ok, thanks Ash" Serena said and she exited the room
"Fen!" Fennekin said
Fennekin then jumped off Serena's bed and made her way over to below Ash where she stared up at him
"Do you want to come up with me?" Ash asked
"Fennekin!" Fennekin answered
Ash then leaned down and picked up and placed her next to him
"Fen" Fennekin said
"Pika" Pikachu replied
"Fennekin!" Fennekin responded to that
Fennekin then rubbed her head against Ash's leg and rested against him
"Looks like your tired" Ash said quietly
"Pikachu" Pikachu agreed
Ash and Pikachu then waited with Fennekin's resting until Serena reentered the room 10 minutes later
"Aw, look at you two" Serena said
"I guess she likes me" Ash replied
"She sure does! But breakfast is ready so you should come on down" Serena suggested
