Clarissa looked around the abandoned building with distaste as she stepped inside. She could hear the heartbeats of the people inside of it and she was still wary of going inside.

She knew Tracey had done exactly what she had told her to do and ran back to Theo with her tail between her legs. It wouldn't be surprising if Clarissa's throat wasn't clawed out the moment that she entered the room.

She whistled happily as she moved through the building towards the lower level where the Dread Doctors had been doing their experiments and where they had been holding Deucalion underneath everyone's noses.

"Oh honey." Clarissa called sarcastically as she reached the open space, eyes taking in the waiting members of her family and the others. "I'm home."

"Finally." Delcan muttered from his place next to Brett and Corey. Clarissa could see an apologetic look pass over Evelyn's face as she moved to stand in front of them so that she could greet Clarissa.

"Where have you been?" Evelyn demanded firmly, her hand snatching Clarissa's wrist in a tight grip.

"Oh you know, here and there." Clarissa raised her eyebrows wondering what was causing the growing tension in the room. She couldn't see Theo but she could sense everyone's unease at the sight of her. "Almost killing Scott McCall and saving the day like always."

"Is that so?" Theo's voice was tense and cool as he addressed her, his eyes narrowing as he looked towards a smug Deucalion. "I thought we had a plan, Lissa."

"No you had a plan." Clarissa commented uncaringly, moving to stand in front of her brothers as she shook Evelyn's hand off her wrist. The auburn haired girl crossed her arms over her chest and looked at Theo in amusement. "Okay, I'll bite. Why does everyone have their panties in a bunch?"

"Hayden used the kanima venom and ran off to help Liam and his friends." Brett declared cheerfully, knowing how much Clarissa disliked the brunette lately because of her closeness to Liam. "Which is why she called me here to watch the big bad demon wolf."

"So you're the reason my brother was taken hostage?" Clarissa hummed thoughtfully, a smirk growing on her face as she noticed the way Hayden paled under her gaze. "Interesting."

"Now is not the time for petty arguments." Theo sweetly murmured in her ear as he moved behind her to grab the syringe that the venom had been in. "I said it was for emergencies only."

"I had an emergency." Hayden tried to defend herself and everyone in the room scoffed in disbelief as she tried to clear her name. "I really did."

"I also have a baseball sized bruise on my back thanks to Malia because you needed Brett to come here so that you could go play Romeo for Liam." Delcan grumbled angrily and leaned his head against Brett's shoulder. Clarissa nodded her head in the direction of her brother, malicious thoughts creeping into her mind as she thought of what she could do to the girl.

"Don't worry, Theo." Deucalion chucked in amusement, his unseeing eyes looking between the pair of them and Clarissa felt a sneaking suspicion that he could see them. "A little dissension in the ranks is perfectly healthy. Though, it looks like Clarissa here is already taking over the reigns."

"No one asked for your opinion." Clarissa grumbled as she moved closer towards the older man, kneeling down to look at him in the eyes to confirm her suspicions. "You're still easily disposable."

"Now now, little wolf. I knew you were tough and I knew you were cunning but I didn't know you were a queen." The demon wolf murmured thoughtfully and Clarissa stared into his unseeing eyes which felt like they were looking into her very soul before turning to Theo. "Did you find what you were looking for?"
