Clarissa was not ecstatic with the turn of events on that overly bright and sunny morning. While she was enthused about being at the school, she could not say that she was excited about seeing certain people. She had received the mass text from Scott to meet over near the busses; what she was not expecting was the sight of her grinning brother leaning against the monstrosity of a vehicle as the older teenagers spoke hurriedly. She glared at the younger males in frustration before moving to stand stiffly next to her younger brother. "Del, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Liam insisted that we come along." Delcan mumbled sweetly, throwing an arm around his older sister in amusement. He squeezed his sister to his side happily as she glowered at their friend. "Don't be mad at him, Lis. He didn't want us to leave his side. It was tragically sweet in my opinion."

"You're not leaving my side for the rest of your life." Clarissa muttered stubbornly, still contemplating if she would be willing to rip the throats out of the boy who spilled the secret she had been hellbent on keeping. She supposed she couldn't really be furious with the younger teenager as he had protected her brother from a rabid animal that was thinking to eat them, but she could threaten him heavily. "You're going to be buried next to me and we're going to have to work out a visiting schedule when I go to hell while you're in heaven."

"Sorry to interrupt the familial argument in the corner but we have a huge problem here." Stiles stated sarcastically, not sounding apologetic at all in his interruption. The reddish brown haired teenager glared at him while he turned back towards the strawberry blonde beauty in front of them. "Lydia, continue please."

"Tracy wasn't just having trouble sleeping." Lydia declared as she began to pace quietly, shooting looks at the disgruntled teenager under her brother's arm in concern. While the other humans had dark bruising under their eyes from the lack of sleep, Clarissa just looked emotionally exhausted; not a bruise in sight. "It was a real disorder. It was night terrors."

"Well, now she's the night terror." Stiles declared, his voice full of annoyance. He had been leaning against the edge of his vehicle but watched over Clarissa's shoulder, expecting her new shadow to be lurking around the corner. "Especially since no one can find her."

"Okay, I know we're all tired and miserable." Scott's eyes darted between the pack to land on the two newest members and the senior between them. His nose scrunched up in confusion at the sight of them. "Except for you three."

"Don't get me wrong, I'm exhausted but I can run on little to no sleep." Clarissa deadpanned, snuggling under her brother's arm for warmth that she seemed to be lacking that day. It was overly sunny with a sticky form of humidity but Clarissa couldn't seem to warm herself up even as she wore her brother's old lacrosse sweatshirt.

"I'm sorry. This is all just mind-blowing." Mason's peppy voice caused the teenage girl to chuckle in amusement, he had been bugging the older girl about the ancient ruins in Mexico since he had gotten his book online. His eyes darted to Kira in childlike wonder. "You're a kitsune. I don't even know what that is."

"I knew something was going on." Delcan mumbled tightly, eyes locked on Liam from across the vehicle causing Clarissa to pinch her brother for his slightly hostile tone. "I just didn't expect half of my sister's friends to howl at the moon like dogs. I just thought you all were on drugs."

"Your brother is still as lovely as ever." Stiles pointedly declared, his tone full of his usual level of sarcastic mirth. "I wonder where he gets it from."

"I'm still learning." Kira cut in, directing her voice towards the younger male. She shot a pointed glare towards the two humans that were scowling at each other in aggravation.
