It was a bit later and it was break.
It was ten and everyone was outside busy with their own stuff.
Maya sat with some of her class mates in Music while a girl strung a guitar.

"Sing something Maya," she heard the girl saying.
"Okay let's see what I've got," Maya said as she strummed a familiar melody and Rucas came along.

"If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea,
I'll sail the world to find you
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see,
I'll be the light to guide you
Find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in need
You can count on me like one two three
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like four three two
You'll be there
'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah
Whoa, whoa
Oh, oh
Yeah, yeah
You'll always have my shoulder when you cry
I'll never let go
Never say goodbye
You can count on me 'cause I can count on you."

"How dare you? I told you if you want to know me you break all ties with her," Riley said making Maya jump.
"She's in our music class. We can't avoid her even if we want to."
"Maya Hart? Music? Don't make me laugh," Lucas said and Maya stood up.
"Luckily you don't have to put up with me for long. Me and my dad are looking at another high school this afternoon. Next year I'll be gone."
"Catching some weight are you?" Riley said and Maya was off.

She wasn't going to let Riley neither Lucas upset her.
She is who she is and there is absolutely nothing wrong with who she is.
She saw how her parents were looking at her at breakfast and knew of she did change everybody will notice it.
But she did want to change how she was living her life.
Sooner rather than later.
