March 16th...

Today is the day of the wedding, and I am so scared that I might screw it up. Desiree keeps fixing my strapless dress and Leah is fixing my hair. I still don’t know where we are going on our honeymoon. It’s time to walk down the aisle and my dad is walking me down the aisle. There are flowers and white silk and gossamer everywhere. I may have seen it a few hours ago, but now in reality, I’m walking down it.

I see Noah at the end, and I want to run straight to him, but I have to focus on not tripping and making a fool out of myself. I see the expression on his face, it’s full of surprise and amazement and I look down because I’m blushing. I look back up and I’m smiling because I’m getting married to the man of my dreams.

We get down to the end and I stand across from Noah and I space out as the minister rambles on until he says, “Noah Lucas Christensen, do you take Celeste Nichole Thomas to be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“Yes, I do.” He smiles at me and I blush again.

“Celeste Nichole Thomas, do you take Noah Lucas Christensen to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

“Yes, I do.” I turn to look at my mother and she’s crying.

“You may now kiss the bride.” Noah rests my face in his fingertips and I wrap my arms around him and we kiss gently and elegantly. We pull away and the minister says, “I now pronounce you husband and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Noah Christensen.” We start to walk down the aisle when Noah scoops me up and carries me down the aisle.

At the reception, Noah and I mingled with all of the guests and they congratulated us. I am already used to Mrs. Christensen. My mother and father come up to us and say, “Celeste, you made the most beautiful bride ever. Now, Noah, you better take care of her.”

“I will Mr. and Mrs. Thomas. She means everything to me, I love her more than anything.” He smiles and we get ready for the first dance. We picked the song ‘The Only Exception’ because of the meaning and how it was sung. We started the dance and once everyone gave us a minute to dance by ourselves, they joined in. My mother was crying at the song choice because of the lyrics. She said that the song choice was beautiful.

After we finished our first dance as a couple, Noah and I walked of the dance floor and I seen Josh standing outside of the party, glaring at me. I turn to see Noah looking at Josh, horrified, because of the memory of what Josh almost did to me back in October. And now, me being in a white dress and married... that could mean trouble. He walks towards us and Noah walks toward him but stops and says,

“Josh, get away from here. Get away before I call the cops.”

“Celeste was supposed to be with me! Not with some guy! She’s my woman!” He charges towards me, but Noah is quicker and catches Josh and throws him to the ground. I grab Noah’s phone and call the cops that were outside of the party and they came and took him back to his cell.

After the reception, I had to get ready to go on our honeymoon. Desiree was waiting for me and she gave an ensemble that was a long sleeved dress and was cut to the top of my knee. I got dressed and went downstairs where Noah met me and the bottom of the steps and I hopped on his back. People were congratulating us and wishing us a safe trip, wherever we were going.

I asked where we were going when he set me in the passenger seat of his Mercedes and he said, “I’m taking you to Hawaii.”

“Really? I’ve never been to Hawaii.” I turn to look at him and he’s smiling out the window.

“I haven’t either. That’s why I chose Hawaii.” He squeezes my hand and we continue are drive to the airport, “Plus, it is amazingly romantic. Thats what my co-workers have said.”
