ameliaahlefeldt what can i say? when i first moved to america you were the only one who would even look at me, let alone talk to me. to everyone else i was the weird new kid with a thick northern european accent (even though i insisted i was half american, the kids didn't care), but you didn't care about that. we bonded over bon jovi and comics and we OWNED that shit. we were losers, NOBODIES, but we didn't care. we've cried together, we've laughed together and there were times where i wanted to slap you to outer space, but we've stuck together through thick and thin. when we were 18 i was so disappointed upon finding out that i wasn't legally allowed to drink yet, so you bought us plane tickets to denmark and we just spent an entire week partying. and even though i have the craziest schedules and move from one place to another, you still find the time to visit me. you're a crazy bitch and i love you. this is your big day, mickey. the day i've always seen coming. you're the most talented, kind, loving and inspiring person i know and you've more than earned your spot in this gallery. you're my best friend in the entire world and i love you. i'm sorry i can't be there to celebrate this big success but know that i'm endlessly proud of you 💖 [tagged; mickeyjoefernsby, whitneymuseum]
