Chapter 39 Engaged

Louis's POV

"Yes..." I shakily sighed

"Yes?!" Aisha smiled before I nodded and she tackled me to the carpeted floor, she laughed and pecked my cheek over and over while I laid there frozen.

I just said yes to the proposal of my kidnapper.

You had to do what you had to do right?

"Louis this is amazing, we've got to get everything ready! I have to get fitted for a dress, and you have to get fitted for a tux! Then we're gonna get a lovely cake and my guard could be our minister!" She rambled on and on the plans that I would have to be put in place, I couldn't help but begin to cry. She thought they were happy tears, but they were tears of absolute fear and regret.

Save me, I thought. Somebody please save me.....

Alex's POV

It was several hours after the whole entire limo fiasco, the boys would stare warily at the bandages that now wrapped up my arms. We sat in Zayn and my own hotel room, everyone either had their phones or laptops out typing rapidly. We hadn't stopped since we started at 4 in the morning, it was 9 in the morning now and we were all dreadfully tired but determined to find him.

"I've got it!" Liam shouted before we all leaped from out seats and crowded around his computer.

"I have the exact location of the house, it's not that far away from the city actually. There's a highway heavily driven on in front of it too, how dumb can she be? Especially to call Eleanor and keep the phone in the house, this is probably going to be really easy."  Liam laughed happily.

"All we have to do is get a taxi to drop us off and we'll do the rest!" Niall smiled

"We're getting Louis back!" Harry smiled before we hugged each other with tear filled eyes.

With happy hearts we began to pack up all of our things quickly, wanting to save him as soon as possible. We began to talk about our favorite moments with Louis, all of the jokes we shared and hilarious moments we stored in the back of our minds forever. I couldn't help but smile and cry at the same time, happy tears flew down our cheeks with no intention of being wiped away. We would find my Lou and we would be back together again at last, him and Eleanor could start seeing each other again while me and Zayn build our relationship even more.

Everything was going to fit into place and go back to the way things should have been, especially with certain people excluded from this strange family tree. Paul called a rental car to come and take us to our destination, we were all giddy with happiness but than we actually began to think of the circumstances. Aisha most likely had men guarding her and her house as well as Louis, what was a guard without their gun when it comes to guarding?

Nothing.

I was seated with the boys before Paul took my small hand and slapped his hand gun into my palm, I looked up at him surprise especially with how he was trusting me with an actual gun. My usual swords and knives were one thing, but an actual gun was something else.

"Paul I don't know a single thing about shooting a gun!" I gasped 

"Just remember, aim and brace for impact. You'll learn from you first shot, we all believe in you Alex." He smiled patting me on the shoulder.

We would all say that we would go in and come out together, but we all knew that I was the only one going inside the house to look for Louis. The boys could get themselves hurt or in even more trouble than Louis was in in the first time, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if any of the other boys got hurt under my call. 

I looked over at Zayn and noticed that he was the quietest out of the other boys, he bounced his knee nervously and would keep looking at me anxiously. The tension was suddenly broken but him leaning over to me and whispering ii my ear.

"Alex, can I talk to you outside?" He questioned and I nodded before following him out of the room. As soon as door closed he ambushed me in a mind numbing kiss, his hands trembled lightly as he cupped my cheeks.

"Promise me you wont get yourself killed?" He shakily spoke as he pulled away from me, my eyes met his and I saw them quickly watering. I was stunned to see him overcome with such emotion even though we hadn't come face to face with an actual obstacle. I was silent as tears began to trail down his cheeks at rapid speeds, choked sobs began to escape his lips as he help me back at arms length.

"Promise me!" He sobbed as my own eyes began to flood with tears.

He knew that I couldn't promise him anything, that I couldn't promise I would make it out of there alive. He knew that I would put any of their lives before my own, I would get Louis out at any costs and if I was stuck inside I wouldn't think twice before telling them to run and leave me. I was the absolute worst at making promises to them, he knew I couldn't make a promise when I didn't know what the heck I was getting into.

"Please Alex, swear on your soul that you wont!" He begged thumbing away the tears that began to fall down my face. He was more afraid then I was at this moment, he leaned his forehead against my own as he cried desperately. I wrapped my arms tightly around him and squeezed his body tightly to my own.

"I swear on my soul." I whispered as he wrapped his arms around me, I closed my eyes and basked in his embrace. Hoping that this wouldn't be the last time I held him in my arms, praying that I would come back to him with Louis by my side. If Louis died in that house, I wouldn't hesitate to kill myself as well. But Zayn would be all alone, I couldn't do that to him.

"I love you." He sniffled into my shoulder.

"I love you too." I whispered as the sound of rolling thunder met my eardrums.

The storm was coming, ready or not here I come.

Hey you guys, I know it's been some time since I've updated.  I want to just say that I never thought I would be able to achieve these monstrous amount of numbers! I also want to make an announcement, since this book is at about 67k reads

I really want this book to reach 100k reads by my birthday December 19

It would be amazing if we could actually get this to happen but if not, i'm ok with that too :)

I'm also sad that this book is coming to an end but I have some really exciting news..

THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL TO THIS BOOK

I'm so excited just thinking about it :) and I hope it does as well as this book has!
