(Hope this was worth the wait. 😅)

The Massive continued to loom in your vision, just hovering there in the empty vaccum of space. Surrounding it were hundreds, if not, thousands of smaller ships with a similar looking structured exteriors. You could now see why Zim prided himself and his species so much. It couldn'tve been difficult to rule half the galaxy with a military that large. Hell, it would take millennials, but maybe even the ever expanding universe was at large? That was a big step to take but if this empire was quickly expanding as Zim said it was than maybe it wasn't out of the question. Unless a different tallest comes into power and says otherwise after Tallest Red and Purple.

"Man, Zim you weren't kidding about this Armada..."

Zim rose an brow at you and smirked,

"Zim never exaggerates, human!" You gave an overdone wheeze and finished with incredibly fake laughter.

"Oh yeah, you've got that right!" Zim looked confused, clearly not catching on to the sarcasm that was dripping in your statement.

"I don't understand the laughter but, anyhow, the Irken Armada has a set plan to have all the races of the universe serve us! Which won't be that big of a problem! The Tallest can be very persuasive! Sometimes a fight isn't even needed, the fear is what causes the submission, that's all one needs to get what they want! Fear...wouldn't you agree, (Y/n)?" Zim ended his monologue with a small chuckle, him tapping his fingertips together as an evil villian would. You were scared of Zim, sure he was kinda stupid...but he could be intimidating when he wanted to be. Especially with that rage episode with Dib back at the base, he nearly killed him! But why would Zim need you to be scared of him? What was he planning to get out of you at the base? Sure, he stated he wanted to get rid of you so he wouldn't have another Dib to deal with...but why settle for one? Why not get you AND Dib at the base, so he could get rid of you and him once and for all! You didn't really need to be scared just for him to kill you, unless he was a sadist and enjoyed the fear.

"Zim, why did you invite me to your base yesterday?" You asked, sitting up in your seat facing him completely. He didn't look back at you as he was busy piloting the cruiser.

"Haven't I made myself clear? I wanted to get rid of you!"

"But why just me? Why not Dib too? Or Gaz? All of us know you were an alien, so why not get rid of all of us instead of just me? There has to be something else you may have wanted?" You meant to say the last thing as an accusation but it came out as more of a question, a question with hope. But why? Zim sat at his control panal no response coming from his slightly agape mouth at the questioning.

Gir shot out of the back with a 'theory' of his own.

"Master just wanted to wait until you and the big headed boy were here together!!" Gir shouted out doing a cute little jig as he spoke.

"What do you mean together?" You asked, your blood running cold, fearing what you know was about to happen. Gir ran back into the back and yanked Dib out by his hair.

"Ah! Hey! Let go!" Dib shouted as he was dragged next to you. Zim's teeth gnashed and his antennas pressed to the curve of his head, his demeanor immediately becoming dark. He slammed his fist on the auto pilot button and practically shoved you aside. He yanked Dib up by his jacket collar,

"Dib?! How in the name of Irk did you get aboard my Voot?! And without my computer detecting you no less! I've been adamant that I've had more than enough of your smelly head for tonight!"

Dib looked at the hands touching him as though they were the most repulsive thing he'd ever come into contact with. He slapped Zim's hands off of him and immediately gave himself an aura that radiated confidence and bravery, unlike last time.

"I've told you before that your security sucks ass! I couldn't just let (Y/n) be killed either by this alien revolutionary war or this idiotic trial thing! I'm coming with you guys! I have sworn to protect Earth from you! Even if it's just one human, it is my duty. But if the need arises, I'm gonna ditch you to die, take (Y/n) and hijack your ship back to Earth!" Dib shot this whole plan back as though it was genuis.

"Heh, heh, heh, silly Dib-worm!? Do you actually think my ship would let anybody pilot it? Remember Taks ship? It wouldn't let you pilot it either! My ship has a similar computer algorithm only the amazing Zim and Gir (Irk forbid) may pilot this ship! Also, your confidence is astounding! As though the Armada would actually let you two smelly humans get away! They'd have you cornered in an instant!"

"Gee, Zim, you seem to really be dedicated to this Empire. Even though they are literally finding any excuse to get rid of you. Now, they finally have one!"

"You take that back!" Zim's stance was on the defensive, getting ready to make this spat physical.

"Never! Take all the cracks you've made about my head back!" Dib was also prepared to stike,
one wrong move or word would set them off.

"Guys stop! If you fight in here you'll break something!" You shouted trying to ease the hostile environment, you didn't feel like dying in space today. You were sure Dib wasn't either but his mind was on another subject, beating the shit outta this alien.

"Think about it Zim! The Tallest didn't even seem to care! They had the cannons on the ship powered up to fire before they even extracted you from the planet! It was either that or the Florpus was gonna destroy us! Your leaders didn't even mind!" He just didn't know how to shut his mouth. Zim let out a battle cry and lunged at Dib the two throwing punches and rolling around the cockpit. You panicked and jumped between them trying to separate them from the brawl. That plan went down the drain when Zim accidentally landed a punch to your mouth, knocking you to the floor. A cry of pain emitting from your lips. You looked to Gir who had a horrified expression when he saw the blood coming from your lip. His eyes glowed red,

"Cover your ears, pretty lady." You did what he said, Girs head opened and a small little speaker came out the top. A splitting, ear piercing sound screeched from the device, cause both the boys to fly apart. Their hands immediately going to their ears/antennas, keening in agony. Once the sound stopped and their recovery complete, you and the boys looked to Gir in total shock.

"Look at ya! Look what ya did to the lady, Master!" You wiped the blood from your mouth and tried to cover the busted lip, not wanting to make a big deal out of an accident. You knew he didn't mean it.

"That's no way for a gentleman to behave! Make up before ya get a divorce!" The boys looked puzzled but got what Gir was trying to say. They muttered a truce to each other and sat on other sides of the ship, one on each side of you. Gir trotted on over and sat in your lap, falling asleep in seconds, you placed a hand on his head. Dib leaned over and asked,

"Sorry for losing my cool, Is your lip ok? Zim could at least try to care." He asked. You smile and licked at the broken skin, still tasting the blood.

"It alright, Dib. It hurts a tiny bit, but it's ok. I know it was an accident."  Dib shook his head not convinced. He moved his gaze to The Massive, which was now right in front of us, we were approaching the landing docs. You at least assumed. Zim eyed you a tiny bit before pressing a sequence of buttons and observing the text that appeared before him.

"Now, before we land, let Zim give you some advice. The Tallest are extremely powerful beings and your existence means absolutely nothing to them. They say the word and you're gone. So treat them with the utmost respect, especially you Dib-worm."

Dib rolled his eyes but accepted,

"Sure, whatever."

You all turned back to look at the ships airlock gates opening, a bright white light engolfing you and searing your retinas. Zim piloted his way inside the best he could and settled the cruiser inside.

From outside, the gates closed with a final hiss.
