Chapter 6 Rain can Burn

Zims P.O.V

Ugh! That female with her..thumbs of war! What was she trying to prove? That she is somehow superior to this Irken Invader?

Eh, that doesn't matter anymore, I have more important things to attend to with this human...for example...No! I forget!

Eh. Oh well, maybe I'll remember when walking her to my base. I paused in my steps when I heard a small rumbling outside...no...NO!! It's that horrible weather pattern, rain! I have nothing to protect myself from the horrible chemical! I had forgot to put on my protective coverage!

Your wonderful POV!!

You smirked when you heard thunder from outside, you had a feeling it was going to rain from how cloudy it's been all day. You sighed as you walked back into the school to your locker, Dib following.

"Here's that ear piece if you're going to Zim's" He handed a small wrap around headphone that had a long wire attached to it that ended into a small clip on mic.

"You just....carry this with you, huh?" He pouted,

"It never hurts to be prepared." You rolled your eyes and put the small spy wear on, hiding the wire under your t-shirt collar. Dib's annoyed groan caught your attention, that's when you noticed the sound of rain drops pitter pattering on the roof.

"Damn, I didn't bring an umbrella..." He whined leaning against the locker next to yours. He gave you a pleading look when he saw your umbrella. You sighed shaking your head.

"Fine you can walk under my umbrella--"

"Thanks!"

" you're lucky I'm a pushover.." You said ruffling his hair. He gave annoyed grunt and fixed his cowlick back upwards. As you and Dib walked back outside, you were met by Zim staring at the rain with a uncomfortable expression written on his features. You furrowed your brows. You went up to him to question why he was looking at the rain like it was about to fuckin murder him. Dib grabbed your arm,

"What are you doing?!" He whisper shouted at you. You lidded your eyes.

"Would you calm your ass? I'm just going ask him a few questions. Stay." You slightly pushed him when you told him to stay. He deadpanned at you and pouted,

"I'm not a dog. Don't forget he threatened you earlier so you don't have to be too nice..." he growled,

You rolled your eyes at him but you did feel a knot building in your abdomen as you approached the green 'boy'. Before you could think anything else over you were already tapping his shoulder. His paranoid and always judging stare immediately pierced into your (E/C) eyes. You shook off the uncomfortable feeling and began to speak.

"Zim, are you ok?" He looked you up and down,
then he sneered.

"Of course I am! Zim just didn't bring an umbrella and...uh..OH!...the clothes I'm wearing are made of a melty type fabric when it hits the...water poison." As he spoke you could practically hear Dib facepalming a million times a second. An idea popped in your head as you saw Gaz had an umbrella.

"One second, Zim" You made your way back to Dib again.

"Why don't you just share an umbrella with Gaz?" You asked gesturing to the purple umbrella in Gaz's hand.
