Your P.O.V
After lunch your head was still flying with anxiety, you couldn't think straight,
'God, why am I so paranoid? I guess anyone would be intimidated by going to an aliens base, I'll be fine...hopefully' this thought constantly flew threw your head,
"(Y/n)!"
You jumped out of your paranoia state and looked toward the voice that basically forced out your name, Ms. Bitters, slithered to your desk and brought her face up to yours,
"Pay attention!...or you'll be sent to the underground class room...." She warned, you could see your terrified expression in the reflection of her glasses. Now you were fully shaken up for today, you had two things to worry about now, being sent to the underground classroom, and Zim knocking you unconscious and doing experiments to your body that don't even relate to science, earth science anyway. You're anxiety was so bad that you bounced your leg uncontrollably and would constantly shift in your seat. You turned your head to Dib for some kind of reassurance and he gave you a sympathetic smile. You nodded to let him know you were "ok". You saw his eyes shift to directly across from him and his expression twist into a hate filled glare, you looked to where you already knew he was staring, you noticed that Zim was turned to stare at you directly. His eye pierced straight into your (e/c) orbs, he had a smile on his face...like he was enjoying your inner-turmoil.
"Zim, Dib turn around and pay attention or you're going to the under ground class room too." Their attention both snapped to the front of the room, you could already read that Zim was an egotistical, sadistic, alien. The only being he'd think about is himself.
"(Y/N), I warned you to pay attention!" Ms. Bitters screeched making you jump. "To the underground classroom!!" She pressed a red button on her desk and your chair dropped out from under you. You felt the hottness of the flames that engulfed you as you slide down that metal slide. You heard Dibs shout and Zims manical laughter as you descended down the chute.
"Zim! Dib! you too! Underground classroom."
'Oh shit.'
You could see a small light growing as you slid further down the metal chute, you later dropped down into a small silver isolated room with nothing in it. You let out a loud shout when you impacted on the ground. You growled as you slowly sat up rubbing your backside, struggling to breathe as you had gotten the wind knocked out of you. You heard two more screams approaching, Zim and Dib dropped out of the chute, which opened from the ceiling, both landing with a pained grunt escaping from them, you rushed over to help Dib.
"Are you alright?" You helped Dib up since he didnt want to rip your face off like the other,. As you grabbed his hand though, you could've sworn you heard a snarl from Zim.
"Yeah, I'm ok...I've been through worse." Dib groaned steadying himself. You looked toward Zim, you walked over and held out you hand for him to take as a civil gesture, he gave you an annoyed glare and reluctantly took your hand.
"Your welcome." You drawled, he bristled and looked away from you.
You seemed to guess that this alien had a small case of mood swings, at lunch he pretty much threatened to kill you if you declined his invitation to his house and now he's giving you glares and the silent treatment. He was acting like a human high school boy, maybe he's been on Earth too long? You looked around to gain an understanding of your surroundings, there were no doors or windows anywhere and this whole room was lit by only a lone flouresent light that hummed away on the ceiling. Was this even legal? You took one last glance around the room and slid down the wall, sitting down.
"Ugh, how long are we gonna be stuck in here??" You asked yourself, but Dib and Zim both heard it.
"Probably until the end of the school day...this happened to lots of kids...but I think that's only if we're lucky..." Dib explained. Zim only nodded along, agreeing with him. You werent even sure if he heard what he said. You sighed, putting your head on your knees,
"I might take a nap..."
"We don't have very long though," dib pulled back his sleeve and looked at a watch. "We only have an hour..."
"That's good I guess...but what are we supposed to do for an hour? I'm gonna be bored out of my mind." You gently hit the back of your head on the wall out of frustration.
You heard a small puff and you looked next to you. Dib had sat down next to you while Zim was still standing from afar now. You casually let your head rest on Dib's shoulder as you both engaged in meaningless small talk and random games of Rock Paper Scissors and Thumb wars. You noticed while You and Dib were in the middle of a pretty heated thumb war, Zim would sneak side glances to watch.
"What's the matter, Zim?" You monotonously asked. Zim, who looked to be caught off guard, quickly retained his composure and put his back against the wall again.
"Nothin', but I just don't see what the purpose is of that strange...bond you two are doing with your monkey hands..." He mumbled. You skipped over the term 'monkey hands' and just asked him point blank.
"Do you mean thumb war?" he shrugged,
"If that is what you humans call this war of thumbs then yes..." You silently smiled, at the way he put it and decided to explain it to him.
"There is no purpose really, It's just a game to pass the time."
He still looked confused, but less so and slightly intrigued,
"Do you wanna try?" He didn't give you an answer but instead walked over to you cautiously and held out his hand.
You softly took his three fingered hand in yours. He looked to have grimaced slightly in disgust but you ignored it.
"Ok, now you move your thumb to try and pin mine down and I'll do the same!" He looked confused.
"But only one can be on top?"
"Exactly, whoevers thumb is on top for three seconds wins" he nodded, finally seeming to understand. But since you obviously had more experience at the game you easily won. Which Dib seemed to really enjoy as he let a few chuckle out.
"Gah! Damn you dirty, cheating-"
He shrieked. Stomping his feet like a three year old.
"Explain how I cheated." You asked nonchalantly. He stopped his temper tantrum and looked at you blankly.
"Uh..." You smirked.
"Exactly."
The school bell echoed throughout the solitary confinement room and a door that was invisible to the eye opened to a large stair case, you all walked up the stairs only to be interrupted by Dib's extremely out of place inquiry,
"When did I start wearing a watch?"
