I see the beauty in everyone.

I look for it.

The graceful curve of a nose,

A striking jawline,

Piercing eyes.

No one is ugly, and when people think

otherwise I want to cry for they cannot see

as others do, with an unaffected view.

I know this

And yet when I look into my mirror,

I see an undesirable

Unremarkable

Mess.

Why are so many blind to their own reflection?

I only hope that someone sees me as I see them.
