We accept ALL GENRES for review. If you submit your shit, then we will read and review it.
We will post all our reviews in this book with a chapter dedicated to you and a link to your work. You may only submit YOUR OWN WRITING for review. You cannot submit works you didn't write!
We promise to read at least three chapters of your work, but this DOES NOT mean we will continue reading after the third chapter. In all cases, we will do our very best to read your writing in its entirety, yet issues like grammar, lack of editing, lack of cohesion, etc., may necessitate our stopping reading.
If your work contains any content that does not fit the Wattpad user guidelines, we are under no obligation to continue reading it. This includes erotica (sexual content with no plot), non-consensual sexual activity ( as per Canadian Law, Sexual assault is considered any force applied without consent for a sexual purpose), underage sexual activity (under 18), blatant hate propaganda (unless there is a meaningful purpose behind it within the plot).
If we do not read your work completely, then we will outline our issues with the work in our published review.
Should this happen, you're welcome to revise whatever issues prevented complete review of your work then resubmit. As long as you REVISE your work and complete the application process again, this time reading a different book from the Jerk Booklist, you may resubmit your writing.
Note: This IS NOT vote-for-vote. Under most circumstances, we will not vote for your chapters unless we're genuinely impressed by them. We are doing our best to keep this process fair.
